    Dungeons and Dragons Festivult and Update 8

    Dungeons and Dragons Online will be having another update soon. They are also announcing the annual Festivult. It is beautiful each year to tour around your favorite MMO’s that are sporting extra ever-greenery, and are daubed with fluffy snow and slivered ice. The main city of Stormreach which is near the entry level of DDO, is going to be brimming with holiday excitement and specialty activities throughout the month-long celebration. At the DDO Store you can enter contests and win Turbine points. The Festivult Jester task earns Festivult coins from treasure chests to be turned in to the Jester for claim rewards, from December 6th through January 3rd. The Risia Ice Games will run from Dec 13th through the 16th and then 23rd through the 3rd. The DDO Store will have some cute seasonal items such as hot cocoa, and ice skates.     Kung-Fu LIVE Launch and Trailer

    Virtual Air Guitar Company Ltd has announced that Kung-Fu LIVE has launched today. It is available on the PSN Store for download. This game is different than the other full body motion games which have come out for the PS3 so far because it does away with the glow ball Move controllers. What it does instead is to use the PlayStation®Eye alone. Virtual Air Guitar Company patented a new technology called Freemotion® to create their first controller-free fighting game. This could mean the beginning of a new engine that could transform the PS3 to rival the sales of the Kinect. In Kung-Fu LIVE gamers are taken into kung-fu action with Virtual Air Guitar Company’s advanced FreeMotion® technology.     The Apen Live Scribe Smart Pen will record up to 100 pages of your notes or sketches and works with Windows. Recently Aspen has expanded its series of Smart Pens and added the A2. This new model is Mac compatible. With the new Pencast Player from Livescribe you can use the A2 with Apple iPad, iPhone and iTouch. It enables users to access pencasts anywhere they go with a simple touch with an App free from the iTunes store. What the amazing pen does is much more than a common stylus. It actually digitizes and records writing and drawings that you have done on standard paper. You don’t need special electronic or thermal paper.     Free Game Giveaway on XBox Live

    Two free games on Xbox Live Arcade have been released by Microsoft. These were created in a promotion in conjunction with Doritos in the US. In a previous judging process contestants submitted game ideas and the winners were able to see their game come to life. Last year’s winners game was Dash of Destruction. Doritos Crash Course is a multiplayer obstacle course racing game. Your Avatar will go through a series of challenges similar in style to Trials HD. The full game is complete with leader-boards. The second Free game is called Harm’s Way, a multiplayer driving game. These are complete with Achievements and an unlockable Gamer Picture.
