    Tap Tap Revenge 4 Released

    Tap Tap Revenge 4 is out now over at the Apple App Store. The game works on all three Apple iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch. In a twist of fate the popular game was acquired by Disney and this is the first update under their control. Tap Tap Revenge 4 has music tracks from Lady Gaga, Linkin Park, My Chemical Romance and other bands. Tap Tap Revenge was one of the biggest games in the App Store. The company that created Tap Tap Revenge, Tapulous, was even acquired by Disney due to its success. However the Rock Band series on the consoles sales are dipping and the the music gaming business appears to be saturated. Perhaps everyone who was inclined to play the music games has played them and tired of them by now. The good news is that Tap Tap Revenge 4 can be downloaded here for free still

    Nightfall is a brand new deckbuilding card game to add to your collection from Alderac Entertainment Group. The game will be released in early 2011. In Nightfall, players will compete to control all the creatures of the night. Werewolves, vampires, ghouls, and more will be used to gain control of the land. The official site will have more information on Nightfall as it gets closer to release. But for now, join their facebook to have a chance to own Nightfall before it comes out via the “First 100 days” content. Nightfall uses a chaining mechanic for play. Each card has a main color and two linking colors. Match the main color of a card to one of the linking colors and those cards can chain together.     11% of World of Warcraft players make 50% of playtime

    World of Warcraft Cataclysm became the fastest selling PC game of all time when it sold 3.3 million copies in the 1st day. This should mean that tons of people are playing the title already right? Not really. While everyone may be playing a little here or there (I even just started playing last night), the top 11% of WoW players generated 50% of all the playtime hours according to stats collected by Raptr. The top player for World of Warcraft logged in 149 hours in one week. In other stats, average WoW playtime is identical to top FPS on the console. The average play on the first day of release was 6.23 hours. World of Warcraft is not slowing down as playtime has grown 5 times since just this past summer.     Bioware founders inducted into hall of fame

    The Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences has announced that they will be inducting Dr. Ray Muzyka and Dr. Greg Zeschuk, the co-founders of Bioware, into the AIAS Hall of Fame.
