Today, Sony Online Entertainment chose to show off a ton of new Harley Quinn images from DC Universe Online. The semi-masked, Joker-smitten hooligan is a relatively new entry to the Batman storyline, and she will, of course, be available to the more villainous among us who happen to be playing DCUO. Harmonix is independent once more, thanks to Columbus Nova

You’ve got to buy something good before it’s gone, right? That’s just what investment firm Columbus Nova has done with Rock Band and Dance Central developer Harmonix. In fact, Columbus Nova completed the deal with one of its conveniently-named partners, Harmonix-SBE Holdings, LLC, not even two months after Viacom announced they’d be selling the developer. That’s pretty quick. Basically, they’ve invested money (no specifics on how much, though I’d say it’s a fair bit more than a pretty penny) to keep Harmonix an independent studio, which is, I’m sure, much-appreciated over there. John Drake announced the sale on the Rock Band forums this morning, stating that, “We’re excited to be returning to our roots as an independent and privately owned studio. As for what it means for you, the DLC schedule marches on for Rock Band, we will continue our support of previously released titles and we’re hard at work
