Get a look inside Drake’s Deception with interviews, screenshots and video

This morning, PlayStation.Blog published a fun video from an Uncharted 3 media event. Not only does the video show off some gameplay, but we also get a couple of interviews in there with Amy Hennig and Justin Richmond. Not only that, but a whole cache of (what one would assume was previously-embargoed) new assets hit the web today, including an extended look at the chateau sequence (first seen December 17), which was so big, it had to be split into two parts in order to get uploaded. (It is quite entertaining.) Here they are, in order. Lastly, we’ve gotten our hands on a few new, beautiful screenshots from that same segment of the game. Enjoy!

    Playstation Phone for Real

Various blogs around the net and G4TV are reporting that the Sony Android Playstation phone will be released in early Spring 2011. Now confirmed by Japanese news papers, the new gadget is no longer a rumor. Information from last week mentioned that the device will not be making an appearance at CES 2011. Sony Ericsson will be showing it at the Mobile World Conference 2011 in February. The early Spring 2011 release is said to be for both for North American and European consumer markets. Sony Ericsson has apparently registered for trademarks on Xperia Play, Xperia Neo, Xperia Duo, and Xperia Arc. One of Sony Ericsson PR firms has registered the XperiaPlay.com, XperiaPlay.net, and XperiaPlay.org domain names.

Review: Ghosts of Ascalon (Guild Wars)

Ghosts of Ascalon is the first in a series based on the hit MMO, Guild Wars, and the upcoming, Guild Wars 2. Reading the time line in the front of the book brought back to me: all the initial excitement of the first moments of playing the original Guild Wars. I remember how they made it very moving and dramatic. Then there was the stark contrast that came with what is known as The Searing, in Guild Wars vernacular, which began the guild wars. The story begins and the back cover teases with a return expedition to the ruins of Old Ascalon, and takes you through Divinity’s Reach, and Lion’s Arch. It evokes curiosity and anticipation. Memories of the gorgeous graphics the likes of which had not been seen before, five years ago and the city and country side of Ascalon with the stunning lighting effects and pretty female avatars
