    PAX East 2011 – Hands on with The Dishwasher: Vampire Smile

    I went to the Ska Studios booth not knowing much about The Dishwasher: Vampire Smile other than it was a sequel to their previous game The Dishwasher: Dead Samurai and that they had also made the amazing I MAED A GAM3 W1TH Z0MB1ES 1NIT!!!. But when I left I was smiling and really excited for yet another game coming out on Xbox Live Arcade. The Dishwasher: Vampire Smile stars Yuki, the sister of the Dishwasher from the first game, who is trying to escape prison after being wrongfully put there. There are new environments and new weapons to use (like the massive scissors) which are all very fun and done in a great art style.     Terry Moore announces new series

    One of my favorite comic writers/artists of all time, Terry Moore has announced on his blog a brand new series. I initially found Terry Moore through Strangers In Paradise (which I highly recommend). He then recently worked on Echo (which I’m just starting). The final issue of Echo will ship in April. So it makes sense that Terry is looking ahead. On his blog, he announced that the new series is Rachel Rising. It’s a horror story which will be somewhat new for Mr. Moore. He seems very excited and when he’s excited that means some amazing stories! Rachel Rising #1 will be in stores this July. Hopefully that means we can pick it up on San Diego Comic Con.
