Get your fill of HD ‘Resident Evil’ titles this fall…or at least two of them

The Resident Evil series is 15 years old today (just one more and it gets its driver’s license!), and to celebrate, Capcom announced that two of the series’ most-loved titles are getting the HD upgrade. Resident Evil 4 is getting the uprez treatment, along with Resident Evil Code: Veronica X. Both will be available as downloadable titles for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 this fall. Here are the titles’ descriptions, just in case you need a refresher. Resident Evil 4 , which received numerous “Game of the Year” awards when it debuted and currently stands as one of the best-reviewed games of all time with an incredible 96 ranking on MetaCritic, challenges you to experience it all over again with support for trophies and achievements along with the visual upgrades. As Leon Kennedy, players will explore a town overrun by cultists, mutants and mind-controlled villagers as they unravel the mystery

    Review: Marvel vs. Capcom 3

Rating: T (for Teen) Genre: Fighting Publisher: Capcom Developer: Capcom, Fighling Release Date: February 15, 2011 BUY It’s been eleven years since the release of Marvel vs. Capcom 2: New Age of Heroes. This hugely successful game developed a strong cult following amongst not only fighting game enthusiasts, but casual gamers alike. Released across seven different platforms during the past decade, it was no surprise to anyone that it’s successor would be one of the most anticipated fighters this generation. The long awaited third installment, Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds, finally dropped on February 15th for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. (There is no arcade version planned at the moment; a very telling notion about the evolution of fighting games.) It features full online support, including leader boards and boasts a roster of 36 characters. (That’s twenty less characters than it’s predecessor, however.) Two additional characters

Thousands of pigs fall from the sky as ‘Duke Nukem Forever’ sees another delay

You thought it was really going to happen, didn’t you? You thought Duke Nukem Forever was going to make its announced release date. Obviously, you haven’t been paying attention during the last decade. Watch the video below to learn about the Duke’s latest arrival time. “In case you haven’t heard, Duke never comes early,” said Christoph Hartmann, president of 2K. “We’re committed to deliver a laugh-out-loud, politically incorrect experience that people will talk about for years to come. We thank Duke’s fans for their continued patience – I promise this won’t take another 15 years.” “I’m very sorry for the added delay. We’ve all been working extremely hard and are very eager to deliver the game to you,” added Randy Pitchford – you know, the guy in the video. “I’ve been thinking of these lyrics from the great country song, ‘He’s The Duke’ – ‘He told us if we waited

Convention all about Reality launches in LA

Good or bad, reality tv has taken over. New shows keep cropping up and people sign up thinking it’s their path to celebrity. Even the CEO of GamingAngels was on a reality show (Wedding Day Makeover)! But this may be the first time I have heard of a conference that is all about Reality television. Not a chance to interview or be on a show, but a chance to meet reality stars from various shows. The conference is April 9-10 at the Los Angeles Convention Center. So far signed up to show are Nick Cannon, Adrianne Curry, Christopher Knight, DeAnna Pappas, Audrina Patridge, Eric Roberts, Karina Smirnoff, and cast members of American Idol, Survivor, The Amazing Race, RuPaul’s Drag Race, and top shows from Food Network, Cooking Channel and Bravo. Tickets are $35 for one day or $65 for two day. The Saturday of the conference there will be panels

    Playstation Network services changing?

The Playstation Network team sent me a message that it’s time to move. Much like I am! They are moving their SCEA services to Sony Network Entertainment America Inc “SNEA”. What does this mean for you? On or after April 1, you’ll be asked to sign a new Terms of Service and User Agreement. This will transfer any funds you have in your wallet. If you decline, then they will close your account and return any funds. Not sure what the new service name means. Probably alot of legalese. You can read the terms of service here.
