Alabama tornado hits close to home

Yesterday two of our staff members, Tiffany (aka @kweenie) and Tiara (aka @GamesAre4Girls) were unfortunate enough to experience the tornado that went through Alabama. “I woke up this morning and it felt like everything that happened yesterday was just a nightmare. Unfortunately, game developer Gate Five is not finding it amusing and has filed a $100 million lawsuit against the pop star. Gate Five states that they partnered with Beyonce to create a dance game called Starpower: Beyonce. Things went sour when Ms. Knowles decided she wanted more money for her booty shaking prowess. Unfortunately this demand caused a ripple affect with the layoff of 70 employees, and the eventual shut down of the company due to scared investors. “In early December everything was still a go. And then the week of Christmas, she said that’s it, I don’t want to hear from you guys, go away, resulting in 70 people losing their jobs,” said Gate Five founder Greg Easley in an interview. “We’d much rather make a
