Black Ops adds the ‘Escalation’ map pack on May 3

Call of Duty: Black Ops is getting another “content pack” — and this time it’s called “Escalation.” Ooh. The fact that this is happening is basically a giant “duh” moment, since they like to put out as much content as possible for these games (especially since people will keep paying for it).

This one features four more multiplayer maps — Zoo, Convoy, Hotel and Stockpile — along with another Zombies experience in Call of the Dead.

Apparently the entire game has already logged two billion hours of played, which is kind of ridiculous, and the first content pack sold 1.4 million units in the first 24 hours. We’ll see how this pack does when it’s released May 3 on Xbox 360, and who-knows-when on Ps3 and PC.
