‘L.A. Noire’ to offer Rockstar Pass to help you catch up on DLC

Rockstar Games recently announced the DLC plans for the recently-released L.A. Noire. Several downloadable cases, collectibles and challenges will become available over the next few months. You can purchase the L.A. Noire Rockstar Pass right now, which will give you access to all seven pieces of DLC (four cases, two suits and a collectible challenge). Right now, this has a special price, too: 800 MS Points, or $10. That’s 50% off what the price would be if you bought them all individually. This deal ends June 14, but the pricing only goes up to $12.00, so it’s still a discount. Every pre-order DLC option is also available now (and when the PlayStation Store is back up) — these are the Sharpshooter and Broderick suits ($2.00/160 MS Points and $1.00/80 MS Points, respectively) as well as “The Naked City” Vice case and the “A Slip of the Tongue” Traffic case ($4.00/320

Certain Affinity’s ‘Crimson Alliance’ coming to XBLA this summer

Certain Affinity, who previously worked on titles from the Halo and Call of Duty series, is releasing a new multiplayer title, Crimson Alliance, this summer on XBLA. The game is an action RPG that allows you to pick from three classes. In those classes, you can specialize in certain abilities to fit the way you play, and those specializations change the way the party interacts. “One of the reasons I started Certain Affinity was because I wanted to make a game like this – an action RPG with clever AI, fantastic physics and deep emergent gameplay that can be enjoyed with friends in the living room or halfway across the globe,” said Max Hoberman, president of Certain Affinity. “Crimson Alliance is that game, finally!” Players can start the battle against the Cult of the Soul Siren soon. If you’re at E3, the game will also be playable at Microsoft’s booth.
