Latest ‘Call of Duty: Black Ops’ map pack launching June 28
Activision and Treyarch’s third map pack for Call of Duty: Black Ops, Annihilation, will hit Xbox 360 on June 28. PlayStation 3 date? We’ll just say “later.” Mostly because it hasn’t been announced yet. Exclusivity deals, hurray!Annihilation will feature four new multiplayer maps — Hangar 18, Drive-In, Silo and Hazard — as well as one new zombies “experience,” Shangri-La. The latter, according to Studio Head Mark Lamia, is “an exotic and mysterious map filled with deadly traps, dark secrets and innovative gameplay that will challenge even the most daring Zombie hunters.” Sounds like you’re in the jungle. (Why am I secretly wishing for an Uncharted 2 crossover?)
To celebrate the map pack’s release, Treyarch’s hosting a Double XP weekend starting Friday, July 1.
Here’s your first look at the maps.

JMattHicks is black ops really doing it for you? I was pretty disappointed with black ops when I copped it.. needless to say, I stopped playing it after awhile. That being said, I remember I enjoyed Nuketown... a lot. Drive-in is gonna be pretty cool. I'm waiting for MW 3 and BF 2 to drop :)
