    ‘Two Worlds II’ drapes itself in velvet for a Game of the Year Edition

    Yes, it’s just July. Yes, TopWare Interactive just announced a Game of the Year Edition for RPG Two Worlds II. No, I don’t get it, either. Maybe it’s just a very drawn-out Seinfeld joke. You know, Two Worlds II would drape itself in velvet if it was socially acceptable. And it just made a donation to the Human Fund in your name. Or something like that. What I do know is that this game apparently had a sense of humor about just how awfully received its predecessor was, so perhaps this is a very meta joke. The Two Worlds II: Velvet Edition makes its way to stores on October 18 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC/Mac.     ‘Annihilation’ arrives on PC and PS3 later this month

    Yay for PS3 and PC Black Ops players! The Xbox 360 exclusivity period for the Annihilation content pack is apparently up on July 28, exactly one month after the original release. No changes for this version, it’s all the same as originally reported. The maps include a drive-in movie theater, a golf course and a Shangri-La Zombies map. Ah, zombies in paradise.   Follow

    Konami announces ‘Blades of Time’ for 360 and PS3

    Konami’s latest action title, set to release in 2o12, is called Blades of Time. The action-fantasy stars a female bounty hunter (!) named Ayumi who is set to topple an oppressive regime in “Dragonland.” Ayumi seems to be more of a treasure hunter than a bounty hunter, but in any case, she dual-wields swords to take down any creature that stands in her way. Ayumi also learns a series of spells to use in combat. Dragonland itself is full of traps and a variety of locations. Blades of Time also features co-op, if you’re into that.
