Playdead’s ‘Limbo’ soon to cast its shadow on PlayStation 3 and PC

Once upon a time, Limbo was only for Xbox 360, and it sold quite well on Xbox LIVE Arcade. That reign is over, though.

Whatever exclusivity deal once existed has now come to an end…or at least it will be by the time Limbo sees release on the PlayStation 3 and PC.

Developer Playdead isn’t letting anyone else handle this, either. They’re doing all of the work themselves…while also working on a new IP.

No release date as of yet, but co-founder Dino Patti did tell Joystiq that it was coming “very soon.”
