    ‘BioShock Infinite’ had a trailer at the VGAs, too

    We’d already been teased about a BioShock Infinite trailer at the Spike Video Game Awards on Saturday night, but now we get to see the actual thing. It’s hymn-notic. Yep, that bad pun there is in reference to the song used for the duration of the trailer, “Let the Circle Be Unbroken,” as sung by Elizabeth’s voice actress, Courtnee Draper. They probably used it because it talks about “a better home awaiting in the sky.” That home, in this case…well, it doesn’t look like things are going too well, from a few of the vignettes this trailer gives us.     Konami debuts ‘Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance’ trailer

    Characters from other Metal Gear Solid games are about to get a new lease on life in Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, developed by Platinum Games for Konami as part of a special partnership. The game will be available for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Raiden from Metal Gear Solid 4 is back — as the main character — and the game’s taken on an action bent. That’s incredibly evident if you check out the trailer, which debuted on Saturday night at the Spike VGAs.

    Meet ‘The Last of Us’ in Naughty Dog’s newest game trailer

    Naughty Dog’s been working on a non-Uncharted game for two years now, didja know? If you didn’t, this trailer, which debuted at the Spike VGAs on Saturday night, will bring you up to speed. But first: The Last of Us, another PS3 exclusive from the studio, is an action survival horror title focusing on two characters, Joel and Ellie, attempting to survive a plague decimating mankind. Not only that, but nature’s taking back over — check out that foliage, seriously. “We are excited to finally unveil The Last of Us, a project the team has been working hard on for some time,” said Evan Wells, Co-President of Naughty Dog. “Naughty Dog’s mission is to change the way people experience videogames. We are confident The Last of Us will take a leap forward in cinematic gaming and storytelling, providing gamers with an experience unlike anything else in the industry.” No release

    Nintendo has a great Black Friday

    The United States had a historical Black Friday and it looks like Nintendo benefited from that as well. In a press release from Nintendo, Wii had its biggest Black Friday ever with more than 520,000 units sold. Other things to note for the month of November is record setting sales of Super Mario 3D Land at 625,000 units. The 3DS has sold nearly 2.5 million units since launch. “Great software and unparalleled value drove momentum on Black Friday and through November,” said Scott Moffitt, Nintendo of America’s executive vice president of Sales & Marketing. “Both Nintendo 3DS and Wii have already set records, and we’ve still got the bulk of the shopping season to go. People are flocking to our bundles and the fun of Mario and Zelda that can only be found on Nintendo systems.” So far we only have Nintendo’s results from Black Friday. It seem that since
