    Steam’s 2011 Holiday Sale is on through the new year

    Plants vs Zombies gets a holiday update

    PopCap is sending holiday cheer with an update to the iPhone version of Plants vs Zombies. Plants vs Zombies characters will have festive hats and clothing, but there is more to this dlc. Players can now play as zombies in I, Zombie mode. The update includes leaderboards and four new achievements: Better Off Dead, I,Win, Where the Sun don’t Shine, and Undead Space. Also last week, Plants vs Zombies dropped the first hip hop beats.

    Marvel and Disney release Toy Story comic

    The Toy Story content continues with a brand new comic series released by Marvel and Disney. Buzz, Woody and all the Toy Story characters are back for a brand new story arc. “Everyone loves Toy Story, so we’re excited to team with our friends at Disney-Pixar to bring readers all new stories of our favorite characters from these blockbuster films,” said Axel Alonso, Editor in Chief, Marvel Entertainment. “TOY STORY allows us to bring great new material to the market that’s not only perfect for kids, but also a great read for fans of all ages.     A look at Geek Love

    Last night TLC premiered Geek Love a tv show featuring geeks trying to find love at a comic book convention center. The show occurs at New York Comic Con at a speed dating session. Ryan Glitch, is the founder of Sci-Fi Speed Dating. He helps other geeks looking for love and explains how it’s the best place to find a mate because they understand. I’ve always encouraged my single geek friends to attend conventions to meet people. It makes perfect sense. While I’m geeking out over that cute chocobo plushie, a guy would have the perfect opportunity to come over and chat Final Fantasy with me. It’s an obvious lead in for a conversation.
