All Female Fighting Game ‘Girl Fight’ On the Way to XBLA and PSN

The Mainframe, a virtual world, is keeping captive girls with psionic powers. The Foundation, the organization behind The Mainframe, wants to weaponize the psionic powers of these girls. To escape this virtual world The Foundation put them in, the female warriors must use their abilities to fight their way back to reality. Kung Fu Factory announced yesterday that Girl Fight, an all female fighting game, is coming this spring to Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network.

Each character has her own unique fighting style and abilities, which can be customized. Players can also customize the appearance of the girls. Girl Fight offers unlockable content that let you further customize your character with new looks and abilities. The setting of the game’s arenas takes place all over the globe using augmented reality to create the scene.

Girl Fight is a fast paced fighting game, rooted in an arcade style. It is great women are getting more attention as main characters of games. Hopefully it isn’t all about sexy women who can fight, but strong independent women.
