    ‘Theatrhythm Final Fantasy’ coming to the West this summer

    Square Enix announced today that the 3DS title Theatrhythm Final Fantasy will be coming to the West this summer to mark the 25th anniversary of Final Fantasy. The game features more than 70 musical pieces from across the Final Fantasy universe — battle themes, music from key events and even field themes. The game also features classic Final Fantasy characters looking totally adorable. Bonus. No release date information aside from “summer,” so we’ll update you with that when we know it.

    Get your first look at ‘LittleBigPlanet Karting’

    LittleBigPlanet is already all about the modding, the making…you know, that whole “play, create, share” thing that Sony’s been on about for a while. But this new Karting edition (made by the very kart-friendly group at United Front Games as well as LBP‘s Media Molecule) looks a bit like something you wouldn’t have been able to create in the previous games, which means…well, it’s looking pretty good. Take a look at the official announcement trailer and think — nay, dream — about the possibilities.

    Preview: Hands on with Darksiders II

    THQ invited GamingAngels and others to a press event in San Francisco earlier this week to check out Darksiders II. The title is a sequel for Vigil Games to the well received Darksiders. As part of the community event we were given time to interview Joe Joe Madureira, David Adams and Ryan over some yummy food and drinks. We got to know each other as communities and also received some hands-on time with the game. The preview was over too quickly and now I have to wait until June 26th to see how Darksiders II turns out. When the game is released there will also be an official Art Book from UDON publishing as well as Darksiders II: The Abomination Vault novel from Random House.
