Thatgamecompany’s three popular PlayStation titles are coming to retail stores on August 28. Flow, Flower and Journey are bundled together on one disc and include some new content.
The Journey Collector’s Edition is selling for $29.99, and comes with both new content and previous DLC. The bundle includes: 30 minute behind the scenes documentary about the making of Journey, creator commentary for all the games, concept art, orignal soundtracks, dynamic themes and wallpapers, new Journey PSN avatars, developer diary videos, reversible cover art and last but definitely not least three exclusive mini-games from the developer.
Jenova Chen wrote on the PlayStation Blog: “We are particularly excited about the creator commentary play-throughs of all three games, because we get to share with fans insights about flOw, Flower and Journey straight from the minds of the designers, artists, engineers and composers who worked together to make these games so special.”
I think the idea of including creator commentary in all of the games is a pretty neat idea -- I know that when I fall in love with a game, I tend to eat that stuff up. Smart to include it for their fans; it shows they put some thought into what fans want and need.
