That doesn't surprise me too much. Google+ is probably the last place I'd go for a gaming experience. Maybe after the platform develops more I'll rethink it, but for now I'd go elsewhere.
PopCap Pulls Games From Google+
As if Google hasn’t been struggling enough with its social networking endeavor, PopCap and Wooga are pulling games from Google+.
Wooga took down Monster World already, and more are to follow. Bubble Island and Diamond Dash will be taken off Google+ on July 1, according to Social Games Observer.
Wooga told All Things D, “ We decided to remove certain games from Google+ because we have a much larger following on Facebook and they are active users.”
Starting today PopCap is removing the popular puzzler Bejeweled Blitz from the site.
However, even though PopCap is pulling Bejeweled Blitz, the company told All Things D that, “Google is a valuable gaming partner for PopCap and EA, and we’ll continue to develop for Google platforms.”
Google is going to need to hold on to key partners to keep its fledgling social network afloat.
