Map Pack Pass Revealed for ‘Halo 4′

On Wednesday, Microsoft and 343 Industries revealed details for a War Games Map Pack Pass for Halo 4. The studio has plans for three DLC map packs to be released over the first five months after release. The map packs will be available for 800 MSP ($10) each, or if you purchase the Games Map Pack Pass for 2,000 MSP ($24.99) you save approximately $5 on the total price.  Purchasing the Pass will also snag you two in-game helmets (“Scanner” and “Strider”), as well as an in-game emblem called “Falcon.”

The map packs (concept art seen above) will include: Crimson Map Pack, set for December, which includes maps Wrekage, Harvest and Shatter; Majestic Map Pack, set for February, which includes maps Landfall, Monolith and Skyline; Castle Map Pack, set for April, which includes maps Daybreak, Outcast and Perdition.

Halo 4 is set to release on November 6, 2012 for Xbox 360. The Map Pack Pass will be included with the purchase of the Limited Edition. Forget to order the LE? Rumor has it you can still reserve an LE at Sam’s Club and Walmart. Get to it!
