Nintendo hosts Big Brothers Big Sisters Event
In the hectic madness that is the holidays, it’s great to see companies take time to make a difference in a child’s life. While Nintendo is conducting a Mall Tour for the Wii U (I saw one in Topanga Mall last weekend – very packed!), Nintendo is standing by their commitment to give back to the community as well.
The photo above is from a Big Brothers Big Sisters event in New York City. Where Irving gets to play the 3DS XL with his big brother Mike O’Connell and his mother Rahshiela. The holiday event was held at the Queens Center Mall yesterday and brought many happy moments to the kids involved.
Kids were able to play the Nintendo 3DS XL and the latest games coming to the hand-held. As well as try out the new Wii U and take pictures with Mario!
You don’t have to be a large corporation to change a child’s life for the better. Big Brothers Big Sisters are always looking for volunteers that would like to make a difference. There are plenty of ways to give if you don’t have time, so make sure to visit the site for ideas.
