Real talk, watching suits perform this ritual of pretending to like and play games is making me think about what else can we make them do.
Microsoft kicked off #E3 2014 as they always do with their press event. We weren’t at the press event this year but here is gathered information from what was sent to me in various emails.
Turns out the Microsoft listened to gamers by making sure they focused this year’s presentation on the games. Xbox One has been struggling as a new hardware, but in my opinion that is mostly to do with the lack of supported games. This year they came out swinging.
“You are shaping the future of Xbox and we are better for it,” said Xbox head Phil Spencer, the first Microsoft executive to take the stage before the conference launched into its first demo, a gameplay showing of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare. “We are dedicating our entire briefing to games,” he added to rapturous applause.

Activision will also have Skylanders Trap Team and Destiny showcased on the E3 floor.
Microsoft showed trailers and demos of it’s exclusives: Sunset Overdrive, Forza Horizon, Dead Rising 3, and Fable Legends.
It wouldn’t be an Xbox without Halo as Microsoft announced Halo 5: Guardians and Halo: The Master Chief Collection.
Xbox One players will also see a sequel to the Tomb Raider reboot from Square Enix and ended the game announcements with a new Crackdown.
