Online Game of the Week – Pickies
This week’s OGOTW is an interesting match 3/puzzle in which little “pickies” are placed on the board to make a complete line and disappear. Mouse controlled, simply click to place strategically. The next few in the lineup are shown in the top left corner. In the top right corner, there are little helper pickies. The ninja takes a pickie off the board and the others match the pickies on either side. The point of the game is to keep at least one spot open on the board until the percentage bar in the middle is filled (based on the number of matches made). Enjoy! .

Online Game of the Week – Hungry Sumo
This week’s OGOTW is a deceptively difficult feasty feat, the goal of which is to try to grow your Sumo large enough to dominate the enemy Sumos in your realm. The easy part is growing the sumo; simply hover over it so it eats and eats until it is large enough to win (every time it bumps into an enemy, they both shrink). The catch – don’t bump an enemy while eating. Timing is everything in this fun, floaty addictive sumofest! Enjoy!

Featured Facebook Game of the Week – Uno Boost
Uno always reminds me of good times in college on the park bench with our beach umbrella and lawn chairs. So, when I found Uno Boost on Facebook, naturally it drew me in. Basically the difference between Uno and Uno Boost is that, when there are no playable cards in hand, it’s possible to choose from a selection of special cards from a panel to keep the turn going. Of course, the number of Boosts available is limited, which I actually appreciate it. Once I ran out, I felt like I got in the groove of playing with strategy. Playing and winning more hands earns coins which can be used to buy more Boost cards. In Uno Boost for Facebook, players play Uno against coaches, cavemen, sea creatures, aliens, and other interesting characters of varying difficulty levels that react to winning, losing, and changes in the luck of the draw

Online Game of the Week – Zombie Dolls
This week’s OGOTW is a zombie-lite game in which one little guy has to defend his backyard from hordes of zombified dolls with various weapons and barricades. The light hearted music and little “ow”s that come from the zombies are a pleasant contradiction to the point of the game, which makes it more amusing – at least to me. Enjoy!

Online Game of the Week – Flying Candy
Yes, the name drew me right to this week’s OGOTW. I mean, who’s not attracted to Flying Candy? This bubble popping highly addicting game had me at the title screen where the little eyed spherical candies follow the pointer with their eyes wherever it goes. The object of the game is to click (once) to explode your bubble, causing a chain reaction and pop as many bubbles as possible on the screen, then move the mouse pointer to collect the candies that fall out. The candies can be used to buy bonuses that expand the bubble pop radius, or collect more candies. The little “Yeah!” that comes from the candies when a level is passed is a great heart warmer, too. Very user-friendly. Enjoy!
