Come June the 30th you will be able to buy a copy of Iron Man Armored Adventures on DVD or Blu Ray, which was launched by Marvel at San Diego Comic Con! The series follows a teenage Tony Stark who is fighting villains, going on dangerous missions, and protecting his assets against anyone who wants to ruin Stark Industries and destroy the world. What better way to do that than break out the “Stark Exo-Suit” right? It also helps that he’s bringing his friends along for the ride!

While you can score yourself a copy of the 6-disc DVD set, or the high definition 2-disc Blu Ray, Australians and New Zealanders should keep an eye on Madman‘s website because word is that they might be giving copies away to some lucky people!

Interested? You can pre-order your copy of the DVD set or grab it on Blu Ray for $59.95AUD. Hopefully you can resist the Iron Man theme song becoming stuck in your head. Sadly, I’m a goner.

So, that’s May 20th and it will be available on XBox 360, PS3, PSP, Wii and DSi, but those of you who are PC gamers will have to wait until June. Looks like it’ll be worth it though!

In this clip we follow John Marston as he meets some Mexican rebels and their leader Abraham Reyes, as well as the Federal Army leader Colonel Allende who are in the midst of a Civil War in northern Mexico. Marston is searching for some old buddies and gets caught in the middle of the conflict between Reyes and Allende, and all he really wanted was make his way to Nuevo Paraiso!

Red Dead Redemption comes out on May 21st for XBox 360 and PlayStation3.

Makoto Aida: Cynic in the Playground is a documentary directed by Yusuke Tamari, and follows the artist Makoto Aida while he shares his personal life during the creation of his works “Human Project” and “Shinjuku Castle“. He is claimed to be one of Japan’s most diverse and controversial artists, and has done various pieces in sculpture, painting, video, installation and manga.

So what’s in store this time?

They’re tough, tenacious and would take no prisoners… Except it’s their job! After all, while working on the set of a documentary film could fall under the category of crowd control, how can anyone classify adventures that range from dog sitting to completing a romantic mission from beyond the grave as typical police work? And that’s to say nothing of pursuing suspects on in-line skates while wearing bikinis and wearing giant mushroom costumes?

So what’s it about?

Life isn’t easy in feudal Japan… especially since the aliens landed and conquered everything! Oh sure, the new health care is great, but the public ban on the use of swords has left a lot of defeated samurai with a difficult career choice! This is especially true if they’re not particularly inclined towards holding a day job, which is why Gintoki Sakata’s opted for the freelance route, taking any job that’s offered to him as long as the money’s right. Unfortunately, in a brave new world filled with stray bug-eyed monsters, upwardly mobile Yakuza and overly ambitious E.T. entrepreneurs, those jobs usually don’t pay as well as they should for the pain, suffering and indignities endured!!

NEW PEOPLE and VIZ Cinema are holding their third installment of “TokyoScope Talk – War of the Giant Monsters” on May 7th at 7pm. Otaku USA Editor-in-Chief Patrick Macias, Eiji Tsuburaya: Master of Monsters author August Ragone, and Japanese film critic Tomohiro Machiyama will be on hand to discuss “kaiju” (monster) movies while showing off rare images and clips of Godzilla, Mothra, Gamera and other creatures featured in classic Japanese Sci-Fi films. The manga in question is called “FLOWER IN A STORM” and marks the debut of Shigeyoshi Takagi in the graphic novel market. Shigeyoshi Takagi ran the 2 volume series in the Japanese magazines Lala and Lala DX, which is also the home of the VAMPIRE KNIGHT series.

So what is the new manga about story-wise? Well, I’ve already told you it’s a romantic manga so what else do you need to know really? Oh, alright then:

Riko Kunimi is trying to lead a normal high school life when Ran Tachibana bursts into her classroom carrying a gun and tells her that her life is now his. Ran, who is the richest and most powerful 17-year-old in Japan, wants her as his wife, and he’s not taking no for an answer!

If Ran can’t capture her by five o’clock the next day, he’ll give up, but he has all that money can buy at his disposal. However, Riko has one trick up her sleeve—she has superpowers!
