Ready to get your Wiggle on?

Parents – brace yourselves. The child entertainment phenomenon known as The Wiggles is now going to take over your PlayStation! The gentlemen have been teaching our little cherubs about “Hot Potato“, “Fruit Salad” and their “Big Red Car” for 19 years. They’ve survived a change in their wiggly line-up (the original Yellow Wiggle – Greg Page – had to leave due to poor health and was replaced by Sam Moran), and several foreign incarnations. Now they are available for your kids to test their wiggly vocal skills and learn the infamous songs over and over again via karaoke in “SingStar® The Wiggles“. It would probably be good for a laugh while intoxicated with your other adult friends – not that I would encourage you to become intoxicated. While the Wiggles have plenty of deals under their belts, the Blue Wiggle named Anthony Field appears to be tickled pink over this

A Mother’s Day Gift Idea from Ubisoft

Stuck for a Mother’s Day gift for your Mother? The suggestion coming from Ubisoft is to get her a copy of the fitness release “Your Shape” for Nintendo Wii. Be very careful how you proceed with this my children. The “game” is endorsed by Michelle Bridges (left), who is one of the trainers on Australia’s Biggest Loser shows (when they can’t borrow the American folks). The game has over 500 exercises. It uses the little specially-made 2D camera included to show you working out on the screen and it will correct you if your form is off as well as judging your body shape so it can create exercises to help you work on your problem areas! It will also keep track of your progress, and will let you know when you’ve been slacking off! While I’m not sure it’s the best idea to give your Mum for Mother’s Day

    GamingAngels visit the Mana Bar!

(Please note that this article is the culmination of both Naomi and Sharon’s works) On the 20th of March 2010, our Aussie GamingAngels braved the nightlife in Brisbane and waited 3+ hours for the chance to see the highly anticipated Australian first ever gaming bar – the Mana Bar! Here’s a rundown of the nights events: Standing in line for the Mana Bar launch party, we knew we were part of something special. There was a nervous excitement in the air. Cars were slowing down to look at 100-or-so people who were lined up on an inner-city Brisbane footpath on a Saturday afternoon being corralled by a man in a karate gi. We stood in line for close to three hours before our chance to sample the heavenly delights, but we certainly weren’t bored. Ryu from Street Fighter was the friendly bouncer, regularly shouting motivating sentiments as he paced up
