Review: Persona PSP
ESRB: T for Teen Genre: Role-Playing Number of Players: One Publisher: Atlus Release Date: Sept 22, 2009 Official Persona Website Purchase Persona from Amazon BUY I fondly remember (vaguely) when I first played Persona on the PS1. Ever since, I have enjoyed delving into the twisted franchise. The wonderful people at Atlus have done me (and the entire gaming world) a huge favour by updating and re-releasing the original title on the PSP. High schoolers will do as every other student has done before them, and St. Hermelin High students are no exception. There is a rumor going around that by performing a special chant you can summon otherworldly creatures known as Personas. The game begins with a group of students, including the main lead who you will name, playing this game at school and passing out when they witness a crying girl in the middle of the room. They

Review: Undead Knights
ESRB: M for Mature Genre: Hack & Slash Action Number of Players: One (2-4 in Ad-Hoc) Developer: Tecmo Games Release Date: Sept 29, 2009 Rating: Buy it! Disclaimer: This review is based on the review build that was sent out. The final version of the game may have some slight differences and tweaking of gameplay. I haven’t played a good hack and slash game in a very long time. So when you tell me about a game that incorporates zombies into it…. well, I’m sold! Tecmo Games has done just that, with a great new game for the PSP – Undead Knights. The story is a simple one: the King, influenced by his hot and busty young new wife, has decided that the House of Blood (a family who has long serviced the throne) should be wiped out. Little did the King know that his daughter had just married into

It’s hard to notice them as you concentrate on clearing a song, but on the top and bottom of each song’s play screen we’re treated to a psychedelic music video with traditionally inspired back drops. Legend of Heroes Review
Platform: PSP ERSB: Teen Genre: RPG Number of Players: 1 Publisher: Bandai Release Date: November 15, 2005 Official Website Writer: Trina Rating: 7.0 The Legend of Heroes: A Tear of Vermillion Legend of Heroes was the first Japanese-style RPG released on the PSP. Japanese-style RPG’s are typically colorful and use history or mythology in their games. The storylines are usually about saving the world from some large disaster or the legendary fight between good and evil. Eastern RPG’s, unlike their Western counterparts, use strict scripts. One usually cannot travel far from the storyline. Legend of Heroes follows Avin who starts on a quest to find his lost sister Eimelle. Jeanne D’Arc Review
Platform: PSP Genre: Tactical RPG Publisher: Level 5 Release Date: August 2007 Official Website Writer: Trina Rating: 9.5 Pros: Amazing story, great characters, fun dialogue during fights Cons: If you lose a battle, it’s game over. Level 5 is an independent developer based out of Fukuoka, Japan. Level 5′s first game was the RPG Dark Cloud, and followed with Rogue Galaxy. Recently a game journalist wrote that Level 5 is the Square Enix of the future. As a huge Square Enix fan, that was quite the compliment and after playing Jeanne D’Arc, I’m going to have to advise Square Enix that they need to watch out. Jeanne D’Arc is loosely based on the story of Joan of Arc and her tale to lead the French to victory against the English. Monsters and demons add a fantasy element to the game. The story begins when Jeanne finds a strange bracelet deep
