PopCap announces merch deals for their iconic IPs

Now there literally can be a zombie on your lawn with the announcement from PopCap games that they have paired with various companies to bring the PopCap games we love to life in various merchandise. The first licensing agreements have been signed with Trends International, Bioworld Merchandising, Funko, MjC International, Jaswares and Walls360. Some of these items are already out while others will be out over the course of the next few months. The first merchandise you will see is for Plants vs Zombies and then following will be Bejeweled in 2013.

Steven S. DeKnight Talks Spartacus: Vengenace Finale and Teases Season 3

Earlier this month, creator, writer, and executive producer of Spartacus: Vengeance, as well as Spartacus: Blood and Sand, and Spartacus: Gods of the Arena, Steven S. DeKnight spoke with the press about killing off characters in the finale, bringing new characters in for season 3 and stretching history just enough to make for an epically awesome show. This season of Spartacus: Vengeance was huge. With each episode ending on a bigger and bigger “HOLY CRAP” moment, I wasn’t sure what DeKnight and his crew could possibly have left for a finale. Oh, ye of little faith that I was because the finale for season 2 was not only full of crazy amounts of action, but it also included a fairly large cut in the cast of characters viewers had been following. Build a Gaming Pony Contest

As I’m sure all of you are aware, a few of us here have kind of gotten into the My Little Pony rebooted cartoon show. First it was Tiffany, and then Trina got in on the action, and then I got so curious what this was about, I started season 1 on Netflix over the weekend. My son loves it. My husband is horrified at the both of us. I’ve completely embraced it to the point that I’ve changed both my Twitter and Facebook avatar to a gorgeous piece of deviantart I found awhile back that depicts a pony wearing N7 armor. That led to Twitter followers tweeting at me about My Little Pony and directing me to a deviantart page that lets you BUILD YOUR OWN PONIES! Super Best Friends Forever is super cute

DC Nation Power Hour is on a little too early for my tastes (10am Saturday), but within that hour is a special minute short by Lauren Faust that is too amazing to miss. Super Best Friends Forever follows teen versions of Batgirl, Wonder Girl, and Supergirl. The one minute shorts are too cute and hilarious. I love Lauren’s original take on the super teens. Faust says in a MTV interview that she was given free reign to have her interpretation on the characters. Tara Strong voices Batgirl, Grey DeLisle is Wonder Girl, and Nicole Sullivan is voicing SuperGirl. Here are the first two videos out so far. I love Batgirl’s Vespa in this one!

We were sent information about Terrance Jay releasing the Mass Effect 3 video embedded below. Terence Jay has a Youtube Channel where he posts a video game parody every 2nd Monday. I started going through his channel and watched more than just the videos posted below. I think @TerenceJay is pretty talented. Look forward to see what he game he parodies next!
