Star Wars Art for a “Mighty” Good cause

Star Wars fans and fans of Might Muggs have a unique chance to give to a good cause with The Empire Muggs Back. Lucasfilm asked artists, comic book creators, toy designers, and celebrity fans to get out their markers, paint brushes and glue guns (wonder if anyone used the bedazzler) to transform blank Might Muggs into custom art. The art is centered around their favorite characters, creatures, ships and scenes from “Star Wars”. Some examples of the artists are: “The Clone Wars” director Dave Filoni, “Fanboys” director Kyle Newman, actress Jaime King, Go-Go’s guitarist Jane Wiedlin, model makers from “Robot Chicken,” graffiti artist Urban Medium, and tattoo artist Karen Roze. All art pieces not only look good on your shelf but benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation. The auction ends on August 14, 2009. You can see all the pieces at here. These pieces are all awesome especially the Robot Chicken ones.

CBS Broadcasting has been given a proposed settlement from the Public Justice and the Asbestos Disease Awareness Organization to give cash refunds to consumers and implement a nationwide recall of toy science kits based on the television series, CSI. Consumers that bought or received the item as a gift can fill out a claim form by January 14, 2010 at “We urge everyone to get these products out of your homes and away from children, and to send in your claim form to get a refund,” said Public Justice’s Victoria Ni, co-counsel in the case. Hello Kitty House!?

A little while back, Trina was hoping for a Hello Kitty themed hotel room, much like the Barbie themed room at the  50th anniversary of Barbie.  Well, Move over Barbie! Hello Kitty’s has a WHOLE house devoted to her. This two story home is located in Shanghai, China, with its entire themed decor in the colors and shapes of Hello Kitty.  From what I can tell from the images, there is a bedroom, living area, and a restaurant or dining area all done up in all the goodness that Hello Kitty has to offer. From what I can see, there is no mention of the house being avaiable to rent or stay in, nor from the pristine lawn,  if anyone is even allowed in there.  Scroll down for a few avaiable images. So, Trina, when are we packing our bags? Source: Follow

There are three queen-sized beds, an extra-large Jacuzzi, two-way fireplace, and tons of classic Barbie items and Barbie artwork. No date on when the suite will open. I also tried to look on the Palms website for a price. My assumption is expensive. Now if only the Palms would open a Hello Kitty Suite. Follow

Do you love Edward Cullen from Twilight?

It might be easier to ask who isn’t in love with Edward Cullen or Robert Pattinson. I’ve watched every interview he’s been in. Giggled when he talks about his hair or the fact that he hasn’t kissed many girls. But what if you want an Edward of your very own? Let me introduce you to the Edward Cullen action figure. He stands at 6 3/4″ tall and kindof looks like Robert Pattinson about to throw a tantrum. Edward isn’t ready to ship until late February 2009, so it’s a little late for a holiday gift for any twitard that you might know. Edward is set for $19.99. Real Robert Pattinson and vampire like action not included. I wonder if it sparkles though? Follow
