Video does have strong language…

In the video this woman has definitely had enough. Looks like her boyfriend only plays PS3 and doesn't seem to get much else done.  So what does she do? She goes after it with a hammer, films it and posts on YouTube. Think of how this could have ended if he only invited her to play.

Yeah part of me hopes that this was staged. Because I worry that she may have been in trouble cause that guy was angry!

Well I believe that this is staged. First, the guy's reaction, the dialogue and tone seemed too controlled for it to be ledgit. Second, is it that easy to yank out a PS3 (which appears to be the original heavy model), with the cables attached, and throwing it with that much ease? Third, the button clicking, it sounds random. The last one I'll give the benefit of the doubt since I have not played the Ghostbusters game.

yes it is that easy to rip a console from the cords attached to it. I know this for a fact (more-so a PC tower in my situation, but they are heavier) lol Really, what holds it in place???

A pretty snug connection coming from the power and AV cables, so yanking both of them out in one swoop is amazing unless the connections are rather loose. In my experience, the power cable is held in more snuggly than HDMI (assuming that is HDMI), so it would've taken two tugs at most to yank the system out.

Of course, these kind of videos makes me question the validity of the depicted events in general, and I have to throw down every question possible.

I am not going to think that far into it. I do believe its real. Read the youtube video description #1 and a#2 if you think these things dont happen you are delusional. Some people neglect their loved ones and the outside world when wrapped in a game. I know I have been guilty of it. I know a few guys on live that dont work and just sit around playing games, ordering their wife or gf to get em another beer and whatnot. While some people are tolerant I would not be and think any rational person would explode after that treatment for any long period of time. This video is just an idea of what happens when you are a gaming addict and your SO is not. Fortunately for me we share the addiction lol

Yeah, that's pretty much because I use to make videos back then for high school and college (Now I'm into animating). You can say that I'm one of the few that saw THE GREATEST FREAKOUT EVER!!! (I'm sure I'm missing a few exclamation points) and thought that they are fake from the get go.

Another thing I didn't bring up was that I decided to see what other videos and saw they were……variety-type videos, with the subject video having an abnormally high view count when compared to the others. But then I noticed in the ones I randomly watched, the girl only appeared in one video, and that's the PS3 smash one. If she appeared in other vids, I may have leaned towards fake, but this is different, I couldn't make up my mind [at the time] to file it under real or fake, and just won't want to spend anymore time thinking about it. Yeah, I dove too deep into it. Don't worry, it's not because of you, syko (can I call that that?), I went there after posting up my last post.

Don't worry about my thinking, because I know this stuff happens in real life regardless, which is unfortunate. That's it coming from me, I'm out of material. Good fight? (Does this even constitute as a fight of words?)

Until then I need to concept some HUDs for an amateur project. Then maybe a bit of Luminous Arc as well.

You know, i ask some females if they would game with me and either they would rather watch or play something on the pc or they give me an excuse like "im not good at shooters" or "but i'd suck" and i make it clear that not everyone was good at these games when they start and i also try to be understanding and give positive reinforcement. If this female in the video would've joined him in gaming…hehe i don't think it'd go so well. She seemed fed up with him just laying around and not doing anything but gaming(especially into the AM hours…)…and shes a fairly attractive female to boot.

I can stare into a thousand eyes But every smile hides a bold-faced lie It itches, it seethes, it festers and breathes My heros are dead, they died in my head Thin out the herd, squeeze out the pain Something inside me has opened up again

Avalon, if you're a thinker then that rocks. I am just too exhausted to think lately lol. I have never gotten angry enough over a post on GA to truly have an arguement. Just some healthy differences.

Ha ha, yeah I consider myself a thinker, so thanks for your comment; sometimes I'll think so hard the simplest explaination just flies over my head. Differences are good, healthy ones are even better.
