This Week's Rock Band DLC is up! Looks like a pretty good set, this time. A nice AFI Pack to make all the AFI fans squee and dance around, and some single tracks, one of which I know my best friend has been asking for for months.

Now that I'm back from the geekiest wedding weekend ever (I love when my nerd friends get married. How can you go wrong with Rock Band at your reception?) let me catch up on the DLC information. This week looks pretty good for Slipknot fans, though I'm looking forward to the S&G.

Seriously, if they're going to do lots of "new" stuff by an artist, they should at least pick up "No More Sorrow" from Linkin Park's Minutes to Midnight, as that song sounds like it was written to be a Rock Band favorite.

Alydra has been doing a great job! Here are some upcoming DLC that was announced today!
And beginning Jan. 5, Rock Band and McCartney fans will be able to download “New York City Pack 01” in the Rock Band Music Store. McCartney’s solo debut on the Rock Band platform includes “Band on the Run (live),” “Jet (live)” and “Sing the Changes (live).” These tracks will be available Jan. 5 for the Xbox 360 and Wii and Jan. 7 for PlayStation3.
