…but my introductions usually do. :P
Hello everyone! My name is Anastasia (33) and I'm from Toronto, Canada. I'm a multiple 360 owner (GT: AFlockOfBunnies) and member of GamerchiX (that's how I found the site!). I do plan to eventually pick up a PS3 this year so I can play some of the downright juicy exclusive titles that I have been missing out on. (I'm looking at you Uncharted 2!!!)
I've finally come up for air from playing Mass Effect 2 (I <3 Bioware). I play mostly FPS and RPGs. In my usual rotation for multiplayer FPS, it's usually Halo 3, Gears 2, Rainbow Six Vegas 2, ODST, Borderlands, and on RARE occasion Nazi Zombie mode for CoD:WaW. I have an irrational fear of zombies (honestly, it's irrational), so I won't be delving into L4D or Resident Evil games anytime soon. I know, I know. I'm a chicken. Cluck, cluck.
Right now I'm working through Fallout 3 at a slow pace. And by slow I mean I am not really following the main quest, more like wandering around the wasteland getting attacked by things. And looting. I love when an RPG allows me to loot.
When real life allows it, I try to get my game on in the evenings and weekends.
Looking forward to jumping into the discussions and exploring more of the site.

Hi Anastasia!
You play Fallout 3 like I did. Wandering & looting is the best way to start off an RPG like Fallout or Oblivion. And if there is ever a zombie apocalypse, you've found the right group of women to protect you because most of us love killing zombies. You can be the medic. =)

That's how I'd play if I played it. We have it, but I haven't had time to play. Also, how many times can I write "play" in a paragraph? Let's see. I'd play if I could get my husband to stop playing, but he's not done and he's already played for over 150 hours. That's a lot of gameplay! (Note that we've only had that one since Christmas.) Welcome, Anastasia! :)

Hello and welcome to GA.
I too play/played Fallout 3, normally taking an AR, shotgun, hunting rifle(til later on in the game where it becomes obsolete to badder/stronger enemies), lincoln's repeater is pretty decent and makes up for the low dmg you're doing with a huting rifle. Whats nice about it is that you can keep repairing it with hunting rifles but uses .45 shells. I found myself grabbing alot of the "junk" and holding onto it to make weapsons when i got back to the house so i would carry as lil as possibly when i ventured out but pretty much able to handle every situation that was thrown at me. lol
Well i hope you enjoy it here and hope to see you around. :)

I can stare into a thousand eyes
But every smile hides a bold-faced lie
It itches, it seethes, it festers and breathes
My heros are dead, they died in my head
Thin out the herd, squeeze out the pain
Something inside me has opened up again

YAY. Replies give me warm and fuzzies.
I look forward to zombie survival tips anyone can pass on. My current plan for the upcoming apocalypse is to infect myself as soon as possible and lumber around with some gourmet BBQ sauce. Mmmmm. Saucy.
I think I will start the main quest of Fallout 3 soon. I've already maxed out at Level 30 just from wandering around, so I think it's a good time. Until something shiny distracts me. (i.e, FFXIII or the Halo: Reach beta)
Thanks for the warm welcome.

I'm rather new here too, but wanted to say Hello and Welcome.
Except for the zombie thing, it looks like we have very similar tastes in gaming, although I do tend to prefer co-op gameplay. So ODST Firefight, Borderlands, Vegas 2 T-hunt are my faves. Feel free to send a friend request and invite if you see me on.

Welcome to GA! I'm big into rpgs and pretty picky about my FPS games, but I enjoyed the Halo series. When you get the PS3 I also recommend God of War 3. It was real fun to play through!!
As for zombies, could you handle Plants vs Zombies? It's horribly addicting haha Also I'd recommend the Zombie Survival Guide by Max Brooks for some handy tips ;)
