So now who here plays any of the MMOs that are out there?
I'm into WoW right now bigtime. I'm on several servers, recently got my 50th mount (hooray for a white drake to fly around on!), and really excited for the next patch, and hopefully future huntard improvements. :P
I have friends who are trying to get me into playing Age of Conan and Warhammer, but I just can't afford to get into another game and another monthly fee.
So what are you addicted to?

The monthly subscription is what's keeping me from trying MMOs. Are there any free and fun MMOs out there?

MGSRocks1 are you on a pc or mac? Dungeon Fighter does seem like it's going to be a fun mmo from Nexon. It's free to play as well.
I'm trying to avoid the temptation of starting a mmo. But I am really starting to feel like I want to play. But I should probably get through my backlog of games first! lol

MGS I used to play this fun little MMO called Dofus. It's free to play, but there are some things that you could pay extra for to get a bit of an edge, but it was pretty balanced between the paying and non-paying players. It also runs on Macs and PCs.

I got 50 mounts too! Wasn't it such a huge pain? haha. Which ones did you grind out? I'm ally so I wound up with mechanostriders, rams, horses, talbuks, and netherdrakes (that one was the worst, especially doing it at 70). That albino drake was so worth it though! :)
I quit wow a month or two ago though, I played on the Scilla server for a while as a gnome warrior named Pipsie! But I'd been playing it too long and got burnt out, so I recently got the free trial of Final Fantasy XI and got totally hooked, which is weird cause I don't usually like Final Fantasy games! My little tarutaru is both adorable and badass though, so it works out, haha.
As for fun free MMOs, I played a beta about a month ago of this awesome sidescroller MMO called Dragonica, it's a blast, you should give it a shot!

MMO's scare me. I would be so addicted my house would fall apart and my klds would forget my name lol That and I couldn't bear to see my 360 collect dust. Its so hard to stop when there's always another level to acheive.

I use to play WoW when it came out. I played for a year or so and then I had to quit. I got to level 60 and hated the grind and my boyfriend convinced me to quit. So I have been MMO free for a while now. ^-^ Though WoW still calls my soul every once in a while.

My husband and I recently cancelled our WoW account – hopefully for good. We'd both been playing since beta, and it just wasn't fun anymore. Every now and again one of us will play a little Guild Wars (which has no monthly fees) but we don't play it often enough to buy the expansion packs or anything. I've really enjoyed what little of Warhammer Online I've played, and I think that's going to be the next one we pay for, for a while anyhow. I'm a huge fan of the fantasy RPG for Warhammer so hopefully we'll have some fun in there.

The one that I did the long grind for was for the Netherwing drake. Ugggg I will never do that again lol
I recently started to play on my mage with a new guild of people who seem to just all be starting over. So we're leveling together, plan to get to 60 to do the older raids, get to 70 and do those raids, then get to Northrend. It's leisurely and the people are great! I honestly think this saved me from feeling some burnout with WoW
I will also say that Warhammer is intriguing me, though I definitely cannot afford two MMOs at a time…

Those things are life-suckers and I avoid them at all cost. Plus, I firmly oppose paying a subscription fee for a game I already paid for.

My ex's mother was like that…i m surprised she even got up to use the restroom…she was addicted(and probably still is) to Maple Story…wouldn't bother going out the house if it was double exp or triple and it was just very annoying and frustrating for everyone there. To put everything on hold for a game is just sad.
Im with seth on this one. I feel its ridiculous to pay a monthly fee for something you've already bought…
@MGS: Try private servers of games, they're free.

I can stare into a thousand eyes
But every smile hides a bold-faced lie
It itches, it seethes, it festers and breathes
My heros are dead, they died in my head
Thin out the herd, squeeze out the pain
Something inside me has opened up again

Back in the day I scoffed at the monthly fee and thought it was stupid, but when I think of all the technical aspects of what goes in to keeping WoW up and running, I don't mind the monthly fee. Considering that their super secret servers that run EVERYTHING are so extensive and powerful that the government has gone to them to ask how they keep it working? Pretty awesome. Their in-game and out of game support is also very good, and very helpful for many situations (and great jokes).

I played Final Fantasy XI for a little over a year and stopped when I needed to save my money. It was fun for a while despite it's shortcomings. I do look forward to playing XIV though. I'm hoping to get accepted to play the beta.
One of my siblings play WoW, yet I'm told to keep away from the game…something tells me it's a sibling thing.
I've tried free to play MMOs before, but I stopped after a couple of weeks.

I used to play Ragnarok Online and Maple Story, but got sick of grinding and the kill-stealing :( I did play RO a couple times on private servers, which was fun for a while until I got maxed out with nothing to do.
I played Guild Wars for a while, but I haven't been on in ages! I'll have to log back in again to see if I got presents for my characters' birthdays. I'm currently trying out Grand Fantasia from Aeria Games right now. I'm not too sure if I like it. World chat is full of angry people, though ;x hahaha. I guess that's what happens when it's a free MMO.

I play WOW on Earthen Ring. My toons are Mollyshot, Mollysaint and Mollyspell. I know, I am pretty lazy when it comes to naming toons, but would love to play with you guys!

I've never been an MMO person but Star Trek Online has lured me in. After getting into the open beta, I purchased a lifetime subscription once it became available. I've tried games like WoW, EVE, and so on but never could get into any of them. If there are any STO players around here. I'd be more than happy to help you out with any fleet actions or with other mission you might need help with. Anyone that enjoyed Star Trek PC games like Bridge Commander, Elite Force, and Elite Force II should enjoy this game. It is not first person though unfortunately but it's still a superb game.

I want to be into MMOs. I think I'd really love them. No… i take that back. I know I'd LOVE it. Thats the problem. My life would slip away & my 6 mo old daughter would then be 16 when I remembered to feed her.
