I'm weighing in at 142.  I am hoping to use a mixture of walking, EA Sports Active and Wii Fit. ^_^  But lots of walking. We're also adopting salads both for and with dinner along with making lunch, so hopefully I'll be a healthier eater!

So I know I missed the first weigh in, but I still want to join in if i can. :)

I plan on using Wii Fit and doing regular long walks in the neighborhood (provided it's not too freezing lol). Not sure if I'd feel confortable posting my weight (a bit insecure) but i'm gonna go for loosing however much I can. I want to try and get 50lbs gone by my bday in October and I think this'll be a good start to get me going. I've already cut down on soda, and I've been drinking water with a whole lemon in it. I also plan on eating healthier and no more fast food!

How has everyone else been doing?

Okay I went to the doctor today to get a shot for my migraine and I weighed in at 231.  I am going to put batteries into the Wii Fit board tomorrow morning and see what it says to see if it is the same.  I will post what it says tomorrow morning.  I am going to start with the Wii Fit and also with EA Active and Gotta Dance (I think that is what it is called).  Good luck to everyone.

Steph, you can join in at any time! And it is completely up to you if you want to post your starting weight or not. Even if you just want to share your weekly "I lost X lbs". I know it is always hard at first, and I know this week being the first week after the holidays we probably won't all see big numbers (I'll be happy if I just drop 2lbs this week!). But a loss is a loss and as long as we can all support and encourage one another it will help us keep on track.

Oops a day late, but I weighed myself yesterday just before feasting on sushi for 2 hours. :| I weighed in at 164.6lbs on my scale, I'm going to be a little behind and won't start working out till next week. We just finally moved in all our boxes into our house and we literally have no room to move anymore, just paths leading to the kitchen, bathroom and bedrooms :(

Hey no worries…we're all friends here. My weight is "make fun-able" technically because I'm 295 lbs. But, I'm doing something about it and I really don't care what other peoples negative opinions they may have. It matters most of what one thinks of self then what others think, because an opinion about oneself is better then silver or gold. I'm not saying you have self-esteem issues or anything. I just want people to be comfortable with this 90 day challenge and other Angels that are doing this together as a whole and going through the same thing.

I like being a motivator! Laugh

Hey Saiyu there seem to be quite a few of us up there in the 200's. I myself weigh in at 247. I am starting my syko diet tomorrow, thanks to my hubby and his Taco Bell. I plan on waking up with some yoga and doing pilates in the early evening or afternoon.

I'm a little late but weighing in at 241.1.  I'd like to get down to 200 by the end of our challenge.  And I've already discussed larger goals with my hubby.  When I get down to 175 we're going to buy a new bed :)

@sykopathic fairy…we gotta buy a new bed soon LOL.  Our mattress was a hand me down, and it has springs sticking through.  I imagine we'd get a heck of a lot more sleep if we had a bed that was actually comfortable.  I'm not a clothes shopper myself, so I'm not thrilled about that part, but it does feel good when you're able to wear stuff you haven't in a while.

I know, sorry, I'm just trying to be inspirational and motivating. I meant no disrespect to others who are also in the 200's.

Don't apologize. I just mean that we all come in that "embarrassing" category. Women shouldnt weigh more than 150lbs if you ask the average guy. I for one am not ashamed of my weight. Weighing 200lbs will be a victory for me. And while I will look normal in size… height, weight proportion, I will still have that big 200 looming in the background. It doesnt bother me anymore. I am 6' tall, size 12 shoe and DD cup… Which isnt going to go away. I actually found a community or 2 on LJ that helped me embrace that part of myself. I am just big boned in every sense of the phrase.

Going to post my weigh in today since I want to weigh in the mornings each time and tomorrow I have a doctor's appointment and Saturday I have to help take down Xmas decorations at the in-laws.

Wow….I stayed the same from my last weigh in. I guess that's good as well.

I'm with you there.  I used to be embarassed about my size, but I've learned to accept I am who I am.  I don't care what the average guy says because my husband is just fine with me the way I am.  I personally am not doing this for anyone but myself…and our future children of course ;)

How is everyone doing?  I went to the doctor yesterday for my injury to my arm (well not injured…just started hurting one morning), and he's got me in a thing called a heelbo (cloth thing with padding over the elbow to protect my funny bone) and a wrist brace for pain in my wrist I didn't know was so severe until he pressed on the side.  So basically I'm in a sleeve all the way up past my elbow for 4 weeks…then back for a recheck in 5 weeks.

It's been a rough week for me. My endo decided Day 2 was a good day to kick in, so I had two rest days from Active. Eating-wise, I've been eating smaller portions at mealtime, which is a plus. I've noticed it makes me snacky in the afternoons, so I have some fruit to satisfy that. I want to bake but I know if I do I'll be eating everything. *sigh*

I agree on the under 200/over 200 milestone. This is the first time in my life I have been over 200 and it does make a huge difference to be under that. Men mostly don't know how much women weigh. Sure they know the difference between a size 0 and a 12, but anyone in that nebulous 150-190 range can look all sorts of ways depending on how they carry their weight, height and other factors (like chest size).

I remember being 140 and my very thin boyfriend at the time thought I was somewhere in the 110 region. My goal from this challenge is to get down to 175 ish. That for me is when I can wear a lot more clothing options and feel more comfy with myself.

(Maybe we can do another 90 day challenge after!)

After that, I want to continue for health and well being reasons but after that is also harder. So if I make it there, I'll have to change my strategy. I remember it taking months to take off 15lbs when I was around 150 and I was working out 2.5 hours 4 days a week and 30mins on 2 days. All the while working with one of the top martial artists in the country.

(Sorry for the long post)

Far as me I'm at 208? I think but it's just from watching what I eat and stressing over my move I think.

Okay so today I finally found 4 AA batteries around the house (note to Mr. Lefty *we need more AA batteries) and put them into my Wii Fit board.  I don't know if I really lost any weight or what but according to the Wii Fit board I weighed in today at 221.  I will therefore do my weigh ins on Thursdays since today is my first "official" weigh in.  When I was at the doctor earlier this week their scale said I was at 231.  I don't think I lost that much weight but I also know that was in the evening after eating all day and with clothes on and what not.  So who knows.  Anyways, I did 25 min. of Wii Fit today that included Step and Boxing.  I loved it.  I am planning on doing some EA Active this afternoon after my Eye Doctor's appointment and probably taking the dog for a walk as well.  As soon as I go back to work, I am a teacher and have been on break, my husband and I are going to be going to the gym every day after work as it is by his work and we only have one car.  Hopefully, I will see some significant change.  I would love to drop at least 25 to 30 lbs in this 90 challenge.  I think that is a very doable goal.  I think I could drop even more but I don't want to set myself up for failure.

I am going to be checking in here on a nightly basis for encouragement.  I really wish that there was a way that we could do a nightly workout through the Xbox chat and Netflix.  Trina…..Yuki!!!!!  Come on girls we could do it.  There could be eight of us in a room and we could all do it together and have fun laughing and joking with each other.  I know we could do it.

Okay I have posted way too much.  I am off to get ready for my eye doctor appointment.

Hey guys, I probably won't be around tomorrow to post my weigh-in, so I'll do it now!

I'm down a whole 3 lbs, so I'm at 205 now! I'm actually really excited about this… and I wanna try to get under 200 before valentine's day. No signifigance 'cept that I wanna wear some smexy dress while at a magic: the gathering tournament (victory by distraction!!) or something.

Been walking a lot; got a 'job' walking my grandma's 2 puppies every afternoon, or at least the days I want to. Hopefully Eric'll spar with me tomorrow/sunday. We're both studying aikido and fencing, so it's great.

Hope everyone else is doing well, too!

Checking in! Weighed myself last night around 9pm & I was at 230, but this morning when I woke up I am at 240. Still, 240 is what… 5 lbs for the week? I am pretty happy with myself! =)

I've been thinking about cranking up EA Active & going with Medium, but I worry about the walk/run/jump exercises messing with my ankle. I may tinker with custom workouts and remove those from my 30 Day Challenge workout so that I can do them on easy. We'll see how that works out.

Other than that, my smaller meal portions are working out. I end up having to snack more often which means a cup of fruit or some veggies. I've also been enjoying Popchips since the small bags are 100 calories & they are popped chips, not baked or fried. Not too often though, just if I want something a bit different.

No food here today so I need to head to the store, but it's so cold here we are out of everything.

Yukino, I shattered my ankle a few years ago — one thing that helped me rebuild my strength and drop pounds without further hurting myself was using the balance ball to do yoga/pilates. The ball supports most of your weight, and you can modify most anything to stay off of your feet or at the very least maintain less weight on your limbs.

I found that I was stronger and the 30lbs I lost at the time obviously helped too.
