Siuan: I've been doing pilates on & off (usually whenever there is space on our living room floor, which is currently covered in computer cables) and I really love it for its focus on the Core. I'm hoping to combine it with EA Active once the floor is available because I don't find enough stomach exercises are in Active for me.

And its been "cold" here in Atlanta. Which for me, as a Canadian moving here, Atlanta cold is way different from Alberta cold and I find somethings rather humourous, like no one having all-season tires and declaring schools closed because there are a few CM of snow on the ground. But at the same time I understand they aren't equipped for handling these temperatures.

Oh I was saying to make sure and include a Balance Ball like this:

http://content5.videojug.com/2…..prove-.jpg

Just about any strength or balance exercise including things like lunges, can be done on it reducing the amount of weight on an injured joint or limb. Most balls come with a work out CD as well.

So! I am down to 212.2. My boyfriend bought me a scale to encourage my getting healthier and thinner. (And spent a good deal of time making sure I didn't think I had to lose weight to be loved. Boys are cute.)  So!  I'll be weighing in properly with everyone else =)

I am still at 297 lbs. Didn't gain didn't lose, but maybe I'll lose some weight this coming week, eh?

Sorry for being a day late in weighing in…Yell

I didn't weigh in today cause I'm at the same weight, but I did actually work out today! woot! Finally got in some time. I want to make sure you all see our Wii Fit Plus contest that can help you in our 90 day workout program!

PS: About charting..I couldn't find an online source to make one. Does anyone know of a service we can use?

I'm still at the same weight: 165 lbs.  Good news: I've maintained the weight.  What I need now is to get myself eating more fruits and veggies.  I've gotten around to playing ddr/itg last week also; I might need to modify the stepcharts for some of the songs to make them more challenging.

My school semester's starting soon, so I need to get around signing up for the kung fu class.

I know I'm late joining in but I just found out about this today.

I'd just like to start off by saying to all those that are using the Wii Fit/Plus to add to their work outs, Ignore The BMI. I personally don't believe in the BMI system because it takes absolutely nothing into account. It told my husband he needs to lose twenty pounds to be at an ideal weight. My husband is six feet tall and only 190 lbs. He's pretty much just skin bones and muscle if he'd have to starve himself and lose muscle mass to meet the BMI's 'Ideal Weight'.

I'm weighing in at 160 (Although I haven't weighed myself in a few weeks now to be honest) I'll be using a mixture of healthy eating, Wii Fit Plus and a LOT of walking.

We had to scrap our car in September so now we have to walk if we need to get anywhere, we also live in a two storey apartment within a two storey walk up so there's a lot of stairs to be going up and down on a regular basis. I also work two to three days a week and it's a half an hour walk to and from work. My goal at the moment is just five pounds. That will put me back at the weight I was before I got pregnant with my daughter. Also for my body shape (very busty and hippy) I can't actually go under 150 without putting strain on my body, my bones are already sticking out as it is.

My daughter is now fourteen months and she eats everything that I eat. She's actually been the best thing for me to keep me eating healthy. She's going through a phase right now where I can't eat in front of her without her wanting some so all our snacks and whatnot in the house are all healthy so that I can share them with her. I've also kept the diet my husband had me on while I was pregnant (little to no processed foods, no caffiene, no pop, little to no fast foods and well rounded meals) it's been a full life style change that I just never stopped using after I had my daughter.

I mainly want to lose the weight and keep healthy for my daughter but also because I have a chronic pain disorder called fibromyelgia (which in the easiest terms is like having arthritis for your entire body) There's not a moment of my day where I'm not in pain but exercising and keeping fit keeps the flares up mostly at bay and will help in the long run to keep the disease/disorder/whatever it's officially called from becoming all encompassing (It's scary when I've seen a woman pretty much waste away from this because she couldn't even stand to sit in a chair anymore)

@Skittle: We are here for support no matter how much (or little) you need to lose. Even if its just encouraging you to eat healthier, which by the sounds of it you are doing magnificiently. =)

I also agree with the BMI system. Every body is unique and BMI is based on old science, before everyone could regularly get all the nutrients we can today. My BMI says I should be 140, but I am a chesty girl myself, and 140 would make me look like a short, anorexic Barbie, so that ain't happenin'!

Ultimately my goal is 160ish. That should be a comfortable and healthy weight for me. I want to fit into size 9 jeans again.

So I weighed myself before lunch and I've lost 2.5lbs. Not too bad considering my eating could have been better. I'm going to kick things into a higher gear now and do some more cardio. I also gotta watch what I'm eating which means no chinese food tonight with the boyfriend. lol

I hope everyone else is doing well! :D

And I almost forgot! I have new inspiration for my weight loss. I'm a huge Mad Men fan and I love Christina Hendricks, not only because I think she's a good actress, but she's beautiful and showing that you don't have to be a size 2 or less to be that bombshell in a show. There's a great article here about her. So maybe by the end of the year I'll be a 36, 32, 36 :D

I completely agree BMI is a sham. They say a 6' tall woman should weigh 150-160. At 170 I was so thin my mother thought I was on drugs!! So I will be very happy at 200. I wonder what my BMI % would be if they did it the right way like they do on Biggest Loser with the tub of water and all that.

Its Thursday!!

So I decided to take a peek at the scale this morning, and I liked what I saw. Apparently I am hovering around the 230 mark, which makes me so happy. In other news, I hit day 13 or 14 on Active. Today I was introduced to squat holds, which my evil trainer thought would be funny to make me do right before my run/walk cool down. My legs are dying again. LOL!

How is everyone else holding up so far?

If you can, try to work out in the morning before work. However, I know you tend to be up until you fall asleep at the computer late. Just do what you can and try to eat smart while you're at work. Once you get off from work before 7pm every night it should get better.

Woo, third weigh-in. I'm only down about a pound, but I've been walking a lot, so I suspect muscle starting to develop and strengthen. Nothing exciting, but just about to run out the door for the day!

I've been sick all week, so I've been unable to work out.

I did weigh in this morning and my weight hasn't changed…again.

Next Jen, being sick sucks. I had to deal with that during the first week. It's ok though! You'll be burning it off in no time. =)

My weigh-in is 233 from this morning. I was hoping for 230, but I had sushi last night (all you can eat) and it was so delicious. Sushi is one of the things I can eat a lot of before I start to feel even 80% full.

Weighed in today, and I wound up gaining a couple pounds.  I haven't really gone out that much this week; had to look after my brother's kids.  And I admit having ice cream every day didn't help either.  ^^;;;  On the bright side, I've been eating smaller portions.

Weighing in today at 210. Not as much of a drop as I'd like, but semester starts on Tuesday, so I'll be adding about 3 miles of walking to my routine, and that should help pare off those lbs pretty nicely.

hopefully I will weigh in tomorrow. gotta use my MIL's scale.

I have had only one pop a day and eating smaller portions as well as snacking healthier. I gave up on strict diet after 2 days. I was starving and constantly cooking for others helped me give in.

Although, I had my mother's 50th and husband's 31st birthday parties, one last weekend and one tonight. drinking never helps losing weight.
