Okay, I'll talk. It was awful. In my opinion, Letterman couldn't have been less obviously uninterested. He's been on TV for-e-ver, and I just found myself staring in disbelief at Letterman's lack of interview skills. I mean, really. He asked him twice about his early career. He changed the subject too many times. My favorite part was after letterman's bat story, when he asked whether or not 16 year old girls would find a bat flying around their room frightening, and Rob sort of laughed uncomfortably and said he wished he could find the relevance in that question…

AND I felt a little hoodwinked because he asked the question we are all asking – I believe just so he could put it in the commercial – and let him "chronically avoid" the question by (Letterman) saying bite me and changing the subject.

Not to mention the top 10 was LAME as well… what happened?

I didn't see it but I read about another interview where Regis and what's her name like barely had done any research for the interview. Why bother having him on your show if you aren't going to do your homework? Plus Rob looks so uncomfortable when interviews are going badly.

btw… I promised myself to wait until next week to see New Moon to avoid crowds but it's soooo hard! Might have to watch Twilight Sunday to get through the weekend.

Hahhaha. I agree with the why they would have him on the shows. It's not like it's hard to find information. I mean I assume it's not entirely his fault. I am sure he has people that are supposed to tell him things – find him information – but really. It's like he didn't even care it was bad.

Let's just hope when it's Trina's turn to interview him that she manages to string her sentences together rather than drool over him.

C'mon Trina – you know you would. :D At least we know that even if Trina DID drool that it would make for an entertaining interview!

I've seen Letterman a few times (not in this instance though) and it seems like he is not only disinterested in alot of the people he interviews, but the attempts at gauging laughs for so-called jokes is ridiculous.

I don't like to suggest it since he's TV royalty, but do you think maybe he should … retire? :/

I have actually read that he wants to retire after all the movies. Considering how much money he'll have made, I'm sure he could retire, invest and spend the rest of his life partying.
