Alright, so i've beaten the story/campaign(started on veteran and completed) and was wondering what you thought of the story? Did you like certain parts or hate certain parts or scenes?

I was personally happy to see Captain Price again and i just feel he was a great Captain in MW1. I was quite surprised to see Soap as a Captain now. Hated that Roach and Ghost died because of a certain someone trying to be a hero and take the credit… I had a bad feeling about him from the start… :/ The missions were really fun and kept me wanting more. I think the only thing that frustrated me was trying to run through the pit on Special Ops because you didn't get a time bonus for not killing civilians…still amazes me how someone did it in 22.6 seconds… lol I still need to work on most of those Special Ops missions

Anyways, feel free to discuss or voice your opinion. :)

I can stare into a thousand eyes
But every smile hides a bold-faced lie
It itches, it seethes, it festers and breathes
My heros are dead, they died in my head
Thin out the herd, squeeze out the pain
Something inside me has opened up again

I have been playing lots of MP, but when I get to 70 I am gonna play the campaign and special ops, then that game is a trade in credit.

I see. So do they do the prestige stuff like they did in MW1?

I may get around to multi sometime but lately i've been focusing on other games since not many people are doing special ops for some reason…which WILL be the hardest part of getting the achievements on that game.

I have no idea, there are some new interesting things tho. You should check it out at least. I like the new emblems and titles, new ways to customize yourself by unlocking like icons and stuff. When I get there I will let you know. I am mid-40's right now. I am not quite as good at CoD as I am at gears so I get frustrated a bit. AND I HATE THE CAMPING OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A guy i used to work with at Amazon told me he would go into the prone position and then just knife people because they would think he was dead already or something. This was on MW1 though. I heard from a friend that alot of people camp…or run and gun…but the camping is more commonplace i'd say. Check your corners i guess. lol

So…you can actually change your appearance on MW2? Hmm…well i'll get around to it soon. People already want me to back them up on multi anyways.

I'm actually loving Modern wafare right now. Since I dont suck as bad and can actually remember the names of the guns and maps, its fun to play. The titles and emblms are also fun ways to express yourself, and how you play. I haven't started campaign or spec. ops but I'm definatly going to soon. Also striving to get certain titles can be a fun way to entertain yourself. and having that one of a kind emlbems can sure boost your status. My brother for example spent three days try ing to get 25 ac-130's just so he could have a cute little emblem next to his name. He did it and I know he loves it but hes to manly to admit itSmile. I dont like though that I'm constantly reminded I'm not as good as everyone else. At school all the guys joke that I'm not as good, and since I'm a good sport I just laugh along when really, I want to break their faces. Laugh and they dont push it because they know that i could and probably would.Wink Overall though its a great game, and I would advise anyone who loves a good 1st person shooter, and a challenge, to buy it.

Thanks for the recommendation to anyone there :) I appreciate that.

*raises eyebrow* breaking their faces though…? *laughs and smiles* Well, if you want help or wanna co-op Special Ops sometime let me know. I know some require you to have a second player and some of them you'll want another person playing.

Recently my friend who plays alot of this is getting bumed out with all the camping people do…i guess there is a whole lot going on if he's losing his drive for playing it. :( I plan on jumping on this week and giving it a shot.

yeah, theres alot of camping, its less of the run into battle and hide behind barracades while your shot constantly from the other team who are only meters away, that it used to be, or was in the first game. Now its hideing, and searching the rooftops for the snipers. but usually its not that bad. And a partner for Spec. Ops would be cool, my partner right now is my dad, and hes easily aggitated by games like this, even he plays more than my brother and me combined.

Well i would play Spec Ops with a few people but their timing and abscence because their wives either being home or wanting to go somewhere makes it difficult for me to get something going. If you wanna play some Spec Ops with me, feel free to message me or friend me.

While i spend some time in multi, i notice alot of camping, i try to run and gun and it doesn't seem to work out all that well for me, either its i pursue someone i saw run quickly past my view and get shot down in the process or its people in high elevated places while im trying to advance sooo…i figure sneaking around works well for me and laying a claymore at tactical or go-to areas.

it does take some getting used to, for me especially after playing so much Gears. And as oftn as I have a good game and go like 19 and 7, I have a bad game and go 7 and 19 lol I really dont worry about my kill/death ratio on CoD. That tends to inspire a lot of camping (like my husband lol) and I just dont have the patience for that. A tip with the claymores Mecha, if you plant them while an enemy is killing you up close, they will die most of the time, depending on their perks of course. When I am just in the mood to have some fun I play with my riot Shield. It pops a lot of challenges quickly and its awesome to run around and bash people. When using the shield you pop xp for taking damage, so have an ally run behind you and gun down the people shooting your shield. You wont get kills but you will get a lot of xp and assists.

Haha Awesome, thanks Dawn. I have become addicted to speed(not the drug…) and with Marathon Pro, Lightweight Pro and Ninja Pro…its just fun running around with no sound/footsteps, undetectable on heartbeat sensors, infinite sprint, and being able to run faster. You should really try it sometime. I was contemplating using cold-blooded instead of lightweight so that you'd be able to be undectable except for gunfire…which the silencer will remedy. I have a class specifically for Domination matches bult for speed both running and gunning/knifing. I don't worry too much about my kill/death ratio either buuuuut…if you're just running around and getting killed alot in Team Deathcamp…i mean Deathmatch…then you're costing your team… I wonder sometimes about those people who get like 23 kills but 30 deaths… :/

Oh and i dunno if you know this but they got rid of the Javelin glitch finally…but its doesn't do justice to those people who prestiged a few times using it… Oh and beware the people playing Domination on the Rust map…its a glitch…and people use it to get alot of exp from kills because there is no time limit and the only real way to win without the points slowly going up is to drop a nuke… I don't understand why people just can't play the game and enjoy it without cheapening it by using glitches and secrets… Anyways…

If you use ARis, i highly recommend the ACR. Im not sure yet if i even want to prestige…its alot to just get to 70 let alone redo pretty much everything.

I dont play much domination. In fact I haven't been playing much MW2 at all really. My grouchy husband only likes deathmatch.

you will want to prestige. It opens new titles to unlock as well as a Prestige setting of challenges that accumulate over your career, not just that prestige. At least do it once. Thats what I think. and if you like the ACR wait til you are a 70 and unlock the AK!!

I am actually quite annoyed by the speedy knifers. Really… its a SHOOTER, use a gun.

I am glad trhey fixed the javelin glitch. Only had to deal with it a handful of times. I have heard a lot about glitching. I guess people use the 1 v1 modes to boost too. I don't wann ahear another person say Gears is a shitty game after this. MW2 has horrible matchmaking and too much trash talking, ( like you'dve thought I would ever say that) AND too many glitchers, cheaters, campers, and boosters. so much for removing the online achivements to save the integrity of the game.

Oh…. easter egg emblem in case you didnt know… turn off all your killstreaks and get a 10 streak. it unlocks that old school mario looking guy with black shirt and green pants.

There's this one icon i want but not sure how to get…i could care less for the mario looking one or the Infinity Ward logo…

Now that i've made it to lvl 70, im really enjoying the model 87's with akimbo…especially on Domination, otherwise i'd play more cautiously and try not to die so much by being reckless with them. I also like to play on Ground War so it mixes the Team Deathmatch and Domination matches and with more people playing(which you can also be in party chat and still play without having to switch…or hear retarded people rapping…lil kids…or ignorant people.

really??? you are one of the 1887 jews??? thats so awful!!! You need to Prestige before you forget what the game is all about. They need to do something about that. It really destroys the fun of the game. Oh and the "realistic game play" everyone is so fond of… the 1887s make that disappear.

I dont have a favorite. I really like to try different game types. Cept when I play with Nick he HAS to play deathmatch. I think thats why I enjoy roaming the playlist when hes not around ;)

I still have not done the spec ops with a partner… hint hint

LOL well get your rear in gear then :P I could do some spec ops…just don't ask me to do the snowmobile time trial mission again…i had to have help with that one and then he got stuck and time was winding down and i crossed the finish line just in time.

Um yes, i use the 87s buuuut apparently the new update for MW cut the range of them down…also, they DO have a drawback and ways around people who use them. The drawback is if you shoot both guns at the same time and the "victim" has last stand or final stand they will most likely win cause of the reload time on the 87s. Quite the sucker move buuuut im usually pretty smart to fire one then the other just in case they do have that perk or deathstreak. Hehehe. I don't think im gonna prestige because i probably won't play multi as much in order to get back to 70. I don't really even need the extra class either considering i only use 2 primary ones and the other is for taking out aircrafts… Usually i play Ground War(it mixes Team Deathmactch and Domination so it'll switch between the two every now and then) cause you can talk in party chat and also its bigger teams…bigger teams means less overall camping.

For anybody who does actually care about MW2 still: IW has submitted to Microsoft a patch for the care package glitch and should be in the works soon for anyone who does still actually play the MP matches.

As for me, its too lil too late. I've pretty much moved on from MP on MW2. Once Bad Company 2 comes out(March 2nd), MW2 will be dead to me, nonexhistant. To anyone out there that does still play, i hope you find it more enjoyable after the patch. Expect to see less knifers then.

I have converted to playing hardcore and have pretty much all together avoided the glitchers. It does really suck that they have let this care package glitch go on for so long. I did really enjoy demolition which is impossible to play fairly right now.
