Trina, It's been too long. Seems like everything just went crazy about the time we started working on the server transfer and talking about the new redesign.

Trina, Oh my, things have been so busy here lately. I've been hard at work on some things for the site, and I feel like the organizational side of my brain has been turned into overdrive. This is a good thing, but unfortunately, I don't have as much time to devote to it all as I would like.

Cherith, So where did the weekend go? I had written a long Angel_Life blog just now and it completely erased. So here I am trying to recreate the blog before I have to log into the podcast. Going into the three day weekend, I really thought I would get alot of gaming done. But since we have had people over pretty much all weekend, I have found that it's incredibly difficult to get any gaming in. Any gaming that does occur must be multiplayer. We played the new songs on Guitar Hero III (I am Murloc and the Top Gun theme), some Scene It and then some Boom Blox. Unfortunately I have a list of single player games I am working through, but it just seems rude when people are over to dominate the systems. At one point I did look for my PSP, which sadly was out of power. Did you have a fun fourth? Catch any fireworks? The streets by us were closed off early, so we stayed in all day and then walked to the beach at night. I think we saw as many as 6 different firework shows. It was awesome. While I might not have gotten my gaming in, I did some major updates to the site last night. One update is to our CMS. The update fixes security holes. I created a backup of everything, but I was so nervous upgrading the whole site. I figured if anything went wrong, we would just start over. We did have a minor problem with logging in that was fixed today. I also updated the forums. I still have to learn more about what the new update allows us to do, but I mainly did the new update to help us work on SEO. Yesterday I went to Anime Expo. I love KagoMegan's coverage so far. It was definitely a nice feeling knowing someone else was there to help out. I have some things to write about later tonight. Other than that, I'm about to log into the podcast and then this week is all about getting ready for E3. I hope you had a great weekend! We need to post some new reviews. *hugs* Trina ^_^

Trina, Oh my goodness it's been a crazy few weeks. I haven't written because it's just felt like there's been so much going on. I've got an entire to do list for the site, for my own site and for a bunch of other non-web stuff.

Friday night and I'm almost too tired to game

Cherith, Man it's been a tough week. I did Wii Fit today for the first time in a week. I attribute my lack of consistency with Wii Fit seems to go along with my work week. I always seem to go back to Wii Fit in time for the weekend. Any tips for breaking that and working out during the week? I am finding that it's really tough to game, work and watch tv on a consistent schedule. In the time after work where I would normally game, the Laker game has been on, which then bleeds into a tv show I watch, so then before I know it's it's midnight and I'm exhausted. I haven't been staying away from gaming totally though. Matt and I have been playing Civilization IV all week. The Civ Revolution demo on the 360 kindof spurned my interest, and now Matt has been very excited to have me play Civ 4 with him on the PC. The first time I was hosed, but I am starting to get the hang out it. Tonight I played some SingStar. I'll have my review together soon. Tonight, I sang my heart out, sometimes off key and then watched some of the videos on the SingStar network. The dancing Stormtrooper is hilarious. Unfortunately there has been a lot of family drama this week. Father's day has been called off, so I am using that day now to game all day. I hope to start MGS4 tomorrow. I realized that I haven't played my DS in a long time. I have like 20 games on backlog for my DS. I take my DS everywhere I go, but I never play it. I don't get that. At the doctor's when I'm waiting, I play games on my cellphone instead of the DS. Maybe that's because I am hoping to be called in at any minute. It definitely was a rough week. I learned I need to stretch my arms and legs more. My Chiro told me that I should get up and walk around every 50 minutes. Hopefully next week will be more fun, since it's my birthday week. I am really weirded out by getting a year older this time. I'm not sure why it's affecting me this year. I think because I put alot of pressure on myself to make everything I'm involved in the best it can be. GA is growing and I'm so proud of this community that I almost burst. lol Just have to work on my day job and making more money. Speaking of money, I heard that by the end of the summer gas could be at $7 a gallon! I will definitely be traveling a lot less. The good thing about that is I might walk more. lol Have a great weekend. I'm going to go play Civ with a group of friends. Night night, Trina

Hey Trina, Since it's Memorial Day weekend, I though I'd take the time to write and talk about what's been going on. Seems like the past week or so has been full of crazy stuff, and a lot more video gaming than I've managed to get in a long time. Last weekend, before our Friday Night D&D game, friends brought over their new copies of Mario Kart Wii, and the Speed Racer games - with the Wii Wheel. I had my misconceptions about the Wii Wheel, honestly, I've never been a fan of peripherals just for one or two specific games. I loved the Wii Wheel though, even if it's a more little light weight than I expected. Mario Kart makes me happy because it's got some of the classic courses from the old Super Nintendo version that I love. Speed Racer seems like a great game, and the races are a lot of fun, but for me, it triggers my motion sickness, and I couldn't play for very long.
