Okay PAX keeps getting better and better. Pete Hines just sent out an email with details about Bethesda's plans for PAX. PAX attendees will be the first members of the public to play Fallout 3. Also on Saturday there is a panel, but you'll want to come to the Sisters in Gaming panel instead. ^_^
"We will have a booth at the show, and we're planning to allow the public their first chance ever to play Fallout 3. Now there are going to be 50,000+ people or more at this show so everyone doesn't get to sit down and play it for an hour, but we'll have six kiosks setup in our booth for folks to come by and have a chance to take it for a spin and myself and a number of devs will be on hand to answer questions and talk to folks. We'll also be giving out handy Vault Dweller Survival Guides to everyone that stops by the booth. Plus, you have to come by and checkout the Airstream.
On Saturday at 2:30pm we will be giving a new Fallout 3 demo in the Main Theatre. This is right after the Main Theatre session where Gabe and Tycho draw a strip. Our demo will be pretty lengthy and shows a lot of stuff most folks haven't seen. We may have a chance to do a short Q&A with folks, I don't know. Between the demo and what we have planned after the demo, we may be pretty short on time. If you like schwag, I wouldn't leave early. "
Saturday night, the will be having a post-apocalyptic movie night in the Raven Theatre. All of which is pretty dang exciting.
Nerdcore Rising, a documentary on Nerdcore hip hop, will be shown at Penny Arcade Expo on August 30th. To get you excited and ready to stand in line, they have released the three minute video announcing the premier.
The screening itself is Saturday, August 30th at 4pm in the Main Hall of the Convention Center.
IndieCade has announced that indie Alternate Reality Games and "Big Games" Will both be showcased at Penny Arcade Expo in Seattle from August 28-31. The IndieCade indie game showcase will show independent video games that will be featured at upcoming IndieCade events.
"Independent games offer some of the most exciting gameplay, artwork, and innovative thinking in the industry. More and more we see the seeds of these great games, which challenge the norms and become coveted in the mainstream industry. IndieCade offers an opportunity to share creative inspiration and to see and play this work as it emerges," said Stephanie Barish, founder and president of IndieCade.
Attendees will also have to complete their bingo cards in Urban Bingo, kill one another with kindness in Cruel 2b Kind, and determine the identity of an agent, code-named "caliban".

EA has released the soundtrack list for Boogie SuperStar, the upcoming Wii title from EA. International music star, Natasha Bedingfield has three songs on the soundtrack.

Last week's game sales in the UK are in. Mario Kart Wii is holding onto the top spot for the second week in a row. In fact, the top 4 spots stayed exactly the same. SoulCalibur IV plummeted from 7 to 14, and Guitar Hero: On Tour also dropped four spaces to the number 10 spot.
The winning publisher last week is still Nintendo. Nintendo has been lead publisher now for awhile with no showing of slowdown.

Castle Crashers is landing on Xbox Live today. You'll finally be able to get your hands on this cell shaded, 2D side scoller. Personally, I can't wait to download Castle Crashers but it's going to have to wait until after PAX.
Official Xbox Magazine has given Castle Crashers an 85, but there are really no other scores yet. Castle Crashers is pretty robust at 20 levels, over 40 weapons all for the price of 1200 MS points. Included in that is a free dashboard theme and 2 free gamerpics.
Warhammer Online fans that are going to PAX are going to be happy because WAR is all over it. First they want you to know that they will be at Booth #322 throughout the convention. On Saturday, from 3-4pm, after the Sisters in Gaming Panel you should all be going to, there will be a WAR panel with Creative Director Paul Barnett and Executive Producer Jeff Hickman.

Agetec has announced Falling Stars for the Playstation 2. Think of it as my first RPG. The title is made for anyone to play and can really help younger gamers get a feel for what RPGs are about.

Monopoly fans are getting ready around the world to try and set a World Record for the most people ever playing Monopoly at the same time. The date, August 27,2008. The time, 10 am EDT.
Fans from Atlantic City to Vegas to London, Tokyo and Frankfurt will be playing in addition to people on www.Pogo.com. In Atlantic City, Mr. Monopoly will roll the ceremonial die to kick things off.
Monopoly fans in Vegas can play at the Eiffel Tower restaurant in the Paris Hotel. Various Universities are having on-campus events. While all Hasbro employees will be taking a break to play.
