Fashionistas everywhere woke up early to hit the Target website today. The Missoni collection officially went on sale today and promptly crashed the site. Unfortunately those going to brick and mortar stores may not fair any better. There are reports of people online since 2am and just filling their cart with as much merchandise as they can. Probably not in the manner of keeping, but for re-selling at a marked up price on Ebay.

The collection that includes everything from signature zig-zag print sweaters for $44.99 and silk scarves for $19.99 to iPad covers and furniture.

This photo makes me sad. As someone that wanted to purchase a pair of shoes and a dress, this is just disgusting to witness: Target Missoni picture.

Target’s press release stated that the sale will go through October. But will that mean they will refill what’s been sold? Will we get another chance to make a purchase? I can tell you I refuse to purchase it on ebay.

One way to describe this is hot. Another way is yes please. The company that previously made the Dark Knight motorcycle suit is back with a suit that any X-Men fan will love. The Wolverine Motorcycle suit is licensed from Marvel and includes a leather jacket, pants and gloves. Orders will start at www.udreplicas.com late this month.

This suit looks amazing. Every last detail has been taken into consideration and does actually have CE-approved Body armor, keeping you safe on your motorcycle ride.

But why stop at one suit? How about a suit that’s not even out yet? The team is making a leather replica or Tony Stark’s Mark V Suitcase Suit that will be seen in Iron Man 2.

“We’re putting our creative senses to work like we’ve never done before,” Pea said. “We’re going to mold and shape the leather to replicate the beautiful bevels and hard angles of the Mark V suit. We’re making the leather look like metal, and doing things we never thought would be possible.”

Now my question to UDReplicas.com is when are you going to make us ladies a suit? I’d take a Jean Gray or Rogue suit any day!

It seems no matter where you go nowadays there are several different lines of “Girlz” games – titles slapped together for the 10 to 14 year old Tween crowd.

Playing Dress Up

My Dress-Up joins the Fashion Designer games of the growing DS library. In this game, girls create an avatar of themselves, create various outfits which they can save in themed closets and change in and out of when they feel like it. There are over 100 shades you can use to help your friends look superbly fashionable and a wide selection of pieces to mix and match. They can also accept challenges from their friends and put together outfits suitable to the activity they are going on. When you finish a challenge, new clothing styles will be unlocked and added to your selections. Challenges are accessed by selecting “Messages” from the main screen. Not all messages will ask you to create an outfit. As you help your friends out, they will come to you again and again for more wardrobe advice.

Top Designer

Girls are also encouraged to design their own tops with the Top Designer. In this section of the game you can select from one of four simple shirts, colour them in one basic shade, and then lay a two-toned graphic on top. After you create your top, you can add it to a collection and dress your avatar in it.

Finally, if you have friends with the game, you can link up and have some multi-card fun. Host a Dress-Up party, chat wirelessly, and transfer outfits to your friend’s wardrobe. You can also link up with friends that have either My Make Up or My Secret Diary and chat.

Controls are very simplistic and easy to grasp. While there isn’t a lot of substance to the game, it could be enjoyable for younger girls and their friends to play at a birthday or slumber party as a group.

360 Avatar Steampunk

Details of the upcoming 360 update have been released and included in that is premium Avatar clothing. This picture shows a Steampunk theme that sells for 160 Microsoft Points.

Looks like female avatars will finally get some good looking clothing, only like in real life, you’ll have to pay for it.

Other additions to the avatar system include friends list sorting, and an overall achievements/gamerscore tab.
