“Dead Rising 2″ pushed back to late September and October

Looks like zombies have gotten to the Capcom offices. Or something like that. Dead Rising 2, originally slated for an August 31 release in North America, has been pushed back in both Europe and North America – September 28 for the United States and Canada, and October 1 for Europe. It’s just 28 days later (insert creepy music here), but hopefully the change will have a positive effect.

Capcom to Add Playboy Advertising in “Dead Rising 2″

The Bunny’s been a hot topic in gaming this year, what with 2K’s agreement to include vintage Playboy issues in Mafia II and all. But today’s Capcom’s announcement of a Playboy partnership for Dead Rising 2 is a little eyebrow-raising. While it’s arguably the most tasteful of men’s magazines featuring nudity, what will it add to the game other than additional sales for men and boys hoping to get a glimpse of uncovered breast amongst the zombies? The main character, Chuck, will be able to find issues of the magazine for bonuses (make your own joke there) and Playboy advertisements will appear throughout the game. In addition, a few of the iconic bunnies themselves will make appearances (though it’s not the actual women you might see inside – just women wearing the traditional Playboy Club attire). Capcom’s Having a Pretty Nice Day

It’s a wonderful day to be Capcom. Announcing a ton of new games (in Hawaii, to boot), including a new series entry that will have a lot of fans incredibly happy. Making people happy makes people happy! To start off, we’ve got Capcom vs. Marvel 3 on the way, and this one promises awesome comic book graphics as well as a compelling storyline! I don’t know how they’re going to manage the latter, but color us intrigued. The title will be released on PS3 and 360 in spring 2011. Ōkamiden, a sequel to Ōkami, is coming out on Nintendo DS in 2011. Microsoft showcases their biggest year

Today at X10, Microsoft set out to prove why 2010 is going to be their biggest year ever by showcasing their exclusive games set to come out this year.
