Dante returns in the latest trailer for ‘Devil May Cry’

Many people were a little bit upset at the latest portrayal of Devil May Cry‘s main character. This time, I think we’re getting a look at teen Dante. And his semi-emo haircut. In any case, that’s what it looks like. We all make some pretty bad hair decisions in our youth. Don’t discount him based on that. Enjoy the trailer, which Capcom debuted at E3. Follow

    Review: Marvel vs. Capcom 3

Rating: T (for Teen) Genre: Fighting Publisher: Capcom Developer: Capcom, Fighling Release Date: February 15, 2011 BUY It’s been eleven years since the release of Marvel vs. Capcom 2: New Age of Heroes. This hugely successful game developed a strong cult following amongst not only fighting game enthusiasts, but casual gamers alike. Released across seven different platforms during the past decade, it was no surprise to anyone that it’s successor would be one of the most anticipated fighters this generation. The long awaited third installment, Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds, finally dropped on February 15th for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. (There is no arcade version planned at the moment; a very telling notion about the evolution of fighting games.) It features full online support, including leader boards and boasts a roster of 36 characters. (That’s twenty less characters than it’s predecessor, however.) Two additional characters

    Review – Dissidia: Final Fantasy

Rating: T for Teen Genre: Action RPG Players: 1 – 2 Publisher: Square Enix Release Date: August 25th, 2009 BUY Dissidia: Final Fantasy is Square Enix’s latest spin off of their beloved flagship series, but unlike other installments, the PSP exclusive fighting/action hybrid is quite in unique and innovative. Square Enix’s forays into the fighting or action genre have not always been well received, with their Playstation One fighter, Ehrgeiz being largely over looked, and their debut title for the Playstation 2, The Bouncer falling through the cracks to make room for more revered action games, like Devil May Cry. But for those of us who’ve invested the money in purchasing a PSP, we will find ourselves hooked on another gem of a fighting game with a particular fighting engine all it’s own. Dissidia tells the story of the god Chaos, the goddess Cosmos, and the war that’s been waging

If you’re like me and haven’t touched any of them – read on. The main character in this series is Dante. He is packing some serious heat – in fact in the first episode he’d made quite a few demons resemble Swiss cheese by the 2 minute mark. However he isn’t just wielding 2 smoking barrels but a big, nasty, sharp sword as well. Dante is an assassin of sorts – he gets hired to fulfil certain jobs (for a fee) and each one varies. At one stage he gets hired to protect and accompany a little girl (named Patty) who is the heir to a fortune that her uncles and everyone
