DJ Hero already gets downloadable content

DJ Hero just came out and there are details already on downloadable content. There are two new mixes available now and more joining on November 24th. DJ Hero Extended Mix pack 01 features the following mixes: “All Of Me” by 50 Cent featuring Mary J. Blige vs. “Radio Ga Ga” by Queen “DARE” by Gorillaz vs. “Can’t Truss It” Performed by Public Enemy It’s available now on Xbox Live and Playstation Store. On November 24th, three mixes will be available from David Guetta. The David Guetta mix pack will feature: “When Love Takes Over” featuring Kelly Rowland, the chart-topping “Sexy Chick” featuring Akon and “On The Dance Floor” featuring will.i.am and apl.de.ap of the Black Eyed Peas.

DJ Hero gets a release date

Activision has just confirmed the release date for DJ Hero and it’s October 27 for the US. Unfortunately the date is still just October for other areas. They have also confirmed that it’s compatible with mics and guitars from Rock Band. Not sure that’s how you want to play the game…but you know if they hadn’t someone would have complained. DJ Jazzy Jeff becomes a part of DJ Hero

DJ Jazzy Jeff will become virtual as he joins the list of DJs in Activision’s DJ Hero. So far the other announced DJs are : DJ Shadow, DJ Z-Trip, Grandmaster Flash, and DJ AM.
