EA and Double Fine announce soundtrack for Brutal Legend

Today’s news is about rocking out with your bad self I guess as EA and Double Fine continue the headbanging news with the announcement of the soundtrack for Brutal Legend. Activision sues Brütal Legend developers

Activision has sued the developers of Bütal Legend in order to stop the release of the game this fall. According to Associated Press, the lawsuit claims that Double Fine failed to deliver Bütal Legend on time. This comes on the heels of the Vivendi/Activision merger in which the listing of titles that Activision would inherit did not include Bütal Legend even though Activision insisted that they held the rights for that game. This isn’t much of a surprise with Activision already admitting their unhappiness at Bütal Legend being handed over to their competitor, and I had a feeling that a lawsuit would probably follow shortly. EA has had a big presence at E3 for Bütal Legend, and it’s unfortunate that this lawsuit will put a damper on everything.
