Latest “Epic Mickey” trailer shows off the game’s epic gameplay
Time to take a look at Epic Mickey’s gameplay mechanics in the latest video for the release (which will be here in about a month). As Mickey runs around Wasteland, he’ll be able to use paint and paint thinner to create the world in which you want to play – it’s all part of a concept that Junction Point calls “Playstyle Matters.” We all use different techniques to approach the same goals in real life, why not in a game, as well? Watch the video below to see how the gameplay works, and be sure to check the game out when it releases November 30.

A One on One look at Epic Mickey with Warren Spector
I was lucky enough at New York Comic Con to get some one on one time with Warren Spector and to get a walkthrough of Epic Mickey from him and another lead developer on the game. I was able to check out the game a bit while at PAX last month, but being able to check out some new areas and talk about the creation of the game with Spector and a lead developer was probably the best experience ever. I got to see a new area from the intro area shown at PAX and it was here where I learned that not only are old characters found by Mickey in this land, but so are old and forgotten rides from Disney parks. Going through this one area in the game already brought up a lot of memories since the main toon characters you saw were the gremlins and it

Behind the scenes with “Epic Mickey”: Who’s that Oswald guy, anyway?
If you start playing Epic Mickey this November, and some of the characters don’t look familiar – that’s okay. The game is going back through the ranks of “forgotten characters” and bringing them to life once more. One of these characters is Oswald, the lucky rabbit. Disney fans who are in the know as far as pre-Mickey characters go probably know who this little guy is, but everyone else? Probably not. This video talks about Oswald’s origins and what he’s doing in the game. It’s a little dose of Disney history that I’m looking forward to experiencing on November 30.

Is it November 30 yet? Fans of old-school Disney should love this behind-the-scenes look at Disney’s Epic Mickey – this time, we look at the story. It’s a story you choose to tell, according to the developers. What you do is important, they say. You also find out where the idea for the game itself came from, not to mention that you get to see a few cool pieces of art. Here’s the video: Video Games | Epic Mickey | Behind the Scenes: Storytelling XBox 360 | Playstation 3 | Nintendo Wii

PDP makes playing “TRON: Evolution” and “Epic Mickey” a bit prettier
Performance Designed Products (PDP) have released images of their new controllers, designed specifically to coordinate with two games: TRON: Evolution (on Wii, 360 and PS3) and Epic Mickey (on Wii only). The TRON-themed controllers feature lighting effects that should remind you of the TRON universe. Special rubber grips and contours have been included to make it feel good in your hands. The Wii controller, however, is the only wireless product, as the 360 and PS3 controllers have to be plugged into your console. Each controller will retail for $49.99 and be available on the date of the game’s release. PDP have created an even better-looking secondary controller (Nunchuk) for the Wii and Epic Mickey (which is a Wii-exclusive). It takes the form of a paintbrush, including wood-grain effects and even a bit of faux paint. Along with that, a special charging dock featuring a light-up Mickey and the Phantom Blot
