    Square Enix trailer for Final Fantasy XIV and FFXI

    Square Enix is at the Tokyo Game Show this week and to celebrate, they have released two new trailers. One trailer is a look at Final Fantasy XIV which they announced at E3 2009 blowing most of our minds. The other trailer is for the add-on scenario for Final Fantasy XI “A Shantotto Ascension – The Legend Torn, Her Empire Born”, which launches later this year. The Final Fantasy XIV trailer gives a look at Eorzea the realm in the game. The title is due for a global release in 2010.     First gameplay video of Final Fantasy XIV Online

    GameVideos has the first live gameplay video from Final Fantasy XIV Online. The video seems to be filmed from GamesCom. Final Fantasy XIV Online will be out for the PC and PS3 next year. It looks pretty amazing. Look for me to take a “vacation” when this comes out.     Final Fantasy XIV website gets new content

    Square Enix made me a happy gamer tonight with their email about updates to the Final Fantasy XIV website. Not only can you see the beautiful artwork for the lands and areas in the upcoming game, but now there is information about the storyline, races (I love the Lalafell) and new disciplines. There are also details on the world, quest system and some examples of armor and weapons for the characters. Final Fantasy XIV was announced at the E3 2009 conference and will be released globally in 2010.
