Demo for Fan-Made My Little Pony Investigations has been released

Randomly surfing the net (instead of getting work done), I came across My Little Pony Investigations. Ironically it became something I could write about for GamingAngels! My Little Pony Investigations is a fan created game featuring the characters from My Little Pony Friendship is Magic. The gameplay is much like a Phoenix Wright game where gamers play as Twilight Sparkle who is attempting to solve a crime that took place in Equestria. In the game, Twilight can press for more information or present evidence to help make an accusation. It’s pretty amazing that this is a fan made project. The quality is pretty high for it being a labor of love. Much higher than I expected. The full version of the game will be released for any OS that supports JAVA and will be released for free. That’s right, they just want you to enjoy and have fun. The graphics

The only publicly-voted award of the night, the GAME Award, went to Call of Duty: Black Ops. This marks the third consecutive Call of Duty win in this category. Review: MicroBot

Rating: E (for Everyone) Genre: Shoot ’em Developer: Naked Sky Entertainment Publisher: EA Release Date: December 29, 2010 DEMO When I first read about the concept of MicroBot I was intrigued.  It’s an Asteroids type game where you get to travel throughout a human body as a microbot ship to destroy an infestation. Great concept, but I was quickly frustrated with the game. To begin, you’re given a small tutorial by way of prompts (and a 5 point achievement for leaving the syringe) which help you to get the general idea of how the game controls work. They’re very simplistic and most anyone would be able to get the hang of them rather quickly. The left thumbstick moves the ship, the right thumbstick fires your weapons. You also have the right and left bumpers to show the map which overlays nicely onto the screen, as well as holding right trigger
