    Review: God of War III

God of War III continues the story of Kratos as he scales Mount Olympus to finish his revenge on those who have betrayed him. Genre: Hack ‘n Slash Publisher: Sony Rating: M Release Date: March 16, 2009 (NA) I’ve been a fan of the God of War series since I first got my hands on the first game on the PS2. Since then I’ve played just about all of the games, so when I was offered the chance to review God of War III for the PS3 I was quite excited! I had heard a lot about the game and the trailers, screenshots and the demo I got to play furthered my interest in the game. Thankfully I was not disappointed! God of War III is the last in the trilogy and it starts off with a bang. You begin riding on the back of Gaia as she and the

GamingAngels interviews God of War III’s Todd Papy

Last week GamingAngels was invited to a God of War III event that celebrates the upcoming launch of the title and also gave us a preview of another area of the game. The room was dark and full of LCDs, Playstation 3′s and a whole lot of Kratos. Which is everything a girl could want and more. The food went fast, but that was okay because this angel was there to play. The area we were allowed to play was following a cinematic and a battle that ultimately lead to fighting against Poseidon. One thing that continuously shocked me was how “epic” everything felt. Yes, God of War always feels epic, but it’s another thing to take in exactly what is happening in the game. While I have not played the whole game and this is not a review, I have to say I was very impressed with what the

Demo Preview: God of War III

I recently took some time and sat down to check out the God of War III demo. Since I’ve been a fan since the first game, I was pretty excited to get my hands on the next installment, especially after watching trailers and footage of the game from conventions. And I must say, I was not disappointed! The first thing I noticed was the graphic improvements. The game just looks beautiful, even when you’re disembowling a centaur. And even if you haven’t played in awhile, it’s easy to pick up the controls for the game again. The demo gives the player a basic run through of what to expect in the game both from gameplay, graphics and gore. You are able to fight through swarms of enemies, battle against a centaur as well as a Chimera type creature, and not to mention a showdown with Helios where… well it just

New Mass Effect 2 trailer introduces female Kratos

The newest Mass Effect 2 trailer introduces you to Subject Zero, a new character in the story. The trailer features her chain swords and actions, which look eerily similar to God of War’s Kratos. She definitely is a pretty strong bad-ass. [source via GameSpot]
