Halo fans may want this 1:2 scale bust of Master Chief

Halo 3: ODST tour starting August 22

Microsoft and Bungie have just announced the “Halo 3:ODST” tour to various GameStop locations across the US giving you an early look at the game. The tour launches this Saturday, August 22 in Redmond, Washington with Xbox Live’s Major Nelson and Bungie. The event will start at noon and end around 8pm. Fans will get to play Firefight multiplayer mode and win Halo swag for showing off their skills. The tour will actually be in a Transport Vehicle that is made from a M820A2 expandable truck. It’s 27 feet long and 14 feet wide when full expanded. Which means alot of Halo 3: ODST goodness. The truck will have eight console rigs featuring Halo 3: ODST. Gamers get an early look at Halo 3 ODST at MLG Dallas

Gamers that attend MLG Dallas might be busy competing, but when they have some downtime they will be able to get hands-on with Halo 3: ODST. The ODST station’s open on August 29, and you’ll have to register for a time slot in order to play. From the MLG site: “Bungie is coming to MLG Dallas and will be offering the first ever opportunity for the public to play Halo 3: ODST! On Saturday, August 29th in Dallas, you can sit down with three other squadmates and put your skills to the test in Halo 3: ODST’s brand-new Firefight Mode. St. Buck (Nathan Fillion) introduces the team of ODST’s to their mission into covenant occupied New Mombasa. “Gunnery Sergeant Eddie Buck has witnessed more war than any Marine should. Dark Void moving to Q1 2010

Dark Void is the latest title to be yanked from a Holiday release and pushed back to 2010. Joystiq had the first information on the delay. Chris Kramer told Joystiq that the move was , “in order to get the game out of the crowded fall game season.” While some might agree that after Modern Warfare 4, Beatles Rock Band, and Halo 3 ODST there may not be room in gamers wallets for more, Q1 2010 is starting to be incredibly crowded. Titles delayed to Q1 are Splinter Cell: Conviction, Bioshock 2, Singularity, Bayonetta, Red Steel 2, and probably Mafia II and Red Dead Redemption. In addition to previously announced titles for Q1 like, God of War 3, Heavy Rain, MAG, Darksiders, Aliens vs. Predator, and Alan Wake. We should probably expect to hear more titles announce delays as companies seem to be unsure as to what will sell this

Xbox 360 at Comic Con

Microsoft has announced their SD Comic Con plans. They will have panels talking about their exclusive programming as well as what the new Xbox Live update will feature. “Comic-Con is the biggest pop culture event of the year. It’s the place where geeks can celebrate who they are and get sneak peeks at all the cool stuff coming out,” said Felicia Day, star and creator of “The Guild.” “I can’t wait to unveil season three of ‘The Guild’ and contribute to the excitement of what Xbox is bringing to the show. A month ago, many gamers noticed tweets from Nathan Fillion about him taking a trip to Seattle to check out Halo 3: ODST. “Just got a call from Bungie. Going to Seattle to play HALO ODST! Hope they don’t check my pockets when I leave for game shaped booty.” Turns out Nathan had more of a reason to be at Bungie than just a celebrity fan wanting to get a preview.
