Transformers Season 1 on Playstation Network

Shout! Factory, Hasbro and Sony are announcing that The Transfomers: The Complete First Season 25th Anniversary Edition will be available on Playstation Network’s video service for the Playstation 3 and PSP. The episodes have remastered audio and are in the order they were intended to be in. “As the home entertainment experience continues to expand through a variety of digital entertainment platforms, we are excited to announce this phase of our digital distribution program for Hasbro’s original animated TV property THE TRANSFORMERS,” states Shout! Factory founding partner and COO Bob Emmer. “We’ve had exceptional results with the June 2009 DVD release of THE TRANSFORMERS: The Complete First Season 25th Anniversary Edition. We are thrilled to bring this property in a digital format to PlayStation users.” Now they need to make a Transformer costume your avatar can wear in Playstation Home. I would rock that.

    Comic-Con exclusives are up

San Diego Comic Con may be known to mass media as the place where Hollywood goes to sell it’s latest tv shows and movies. But those of us that are regulars to SDCC know that the exclusives are where it’s at. The first rule to San Diego Comic Con exclusives is to pre-map out what you are interested in. At the SDCC website, they have started to accumulate a list of exclusives. The list will probably go, so you’ll want to check again before you leave for SDCC. With each post you’ll typically get a picture, a description of the item, the price and the run. It’s very important to look at the production run. This will determine how difficult it will be to get an item. While making your list, make sure to list the studio that way you can look the studio up and get the booth number.

Yep the Hasbro Family Game Night adds one more classic board game to the mix. The XBLA version adds a “Bonus Cards” mode which should add some interesting play to the classic game. Hasbro’s Clue gets a facelift

I have always felt that Clue was a bit timeless. Then again I grew up playing the game with various people and can even remember the movie. But sometimes even the best of board games needs a little bit of a makeover. Hasbro Inc, has updated Clue by including younger characters, more weapons, and added rooms to the house. The Professor has been axed, literally. Other characters are given more modern names such as Miss Scarlet is now Kasandra Scarlet, Mr. Green is now Jacob Green, Colonel Mustard is now Jack Mustard, and the professor is replaced by Victor Plum, a billionaire video game designer. Eleanor Peacock and Diane White are the last two characters. The characters now have special powers that assist them with finding out who the real culprit is. The weapons list has increased to include: candlestick, knife, rope, dumbbell, trophy or poison and others. We say goodbye
