Warner buys rights to make Live-Action LEGO film

Risky Biz Blog has an article up tonight that just made me sigh and think about where Hollywood is going. Yes our favorite toy growing up and in most cases still favorite, may now become a live-action movie thanks to Warner Bros. Warner Bros. purchased the rights to make the film. The studio and producer Dan Lin have hired writers to start working on the screenplay. The picture is set to be a live-action CG described as a “movie set in the world of Lego that centers on the idea of achild-like imagination and examines themes of creativity and teamwork in the manner of “Toy Story.” Even though most people seemed to not like GI Joe, it made so much money that we should probably expect all our childhood toys to be made into movies. I call Lincoln Logs next!

    Lego Star Wars II Review

Platform: Xbox 360 ERSB: Everyone Genre: Adventure Number of Players: 1-2 Publisher: LucasArts Entertainment Release Date: September 12, 2006 Official Website Writer: Typhoid Rating: 6.5 Lego Star Wars II: Use your Bounty Hunters to Find Women The original Lego Star Wars game was for Episodes 1-3, and this sequel covers the original 4-6 trilogy. For the main story mode you are assigned characters to play, then after you pass them with enough Lego blocks gathered, you are able to replay as any character you have unlocked. Much of the main story of the trilogy is covered, though they take some pretty large liberties with the facts (particularly in the cut scenes) in order to get laughs. Graphics: I could not believe how impressed I could be by graphics based on Lego toys. There were some scenes where I wished I could have it as a poster on my wall (disco

    Lego Star Wars II Review

Platform: Playstation 2 ERSB: E10 for ages 10 and up Genre: Adventure Number of Players: 1-2 Publisher: LucasArts Entertainment Release Date: September 12, 2006 Official Website Writer: Rachel Rating: 8.0 Lego Star Wars II The Original Trilogy Lego Star Wars II is the follow up to the very successful Lego Star Wars, which covered episodes I-III. This game allows you (or you and a companion) to play as the various characters from the original trilogy, including Luke, Han, and Leia. Graphics and gameplay are both fairly simple, but it is a blast to play! I hate to use this word but…..this game is just so CUTE. For one thing, everything is made of Lego parts. And comedy is rampant in gameplay. Just have Chewbacca put on a Storm Trooper helmet and try not to smile. This game is truly as funny as it is fun to play. Gameplay: There are
