140 Conference – Exploring the State of Now

What is the 140 conf? The #140Conf is an event that explores the effects of emerging real-time Internet on Business. The event specifically says it’s not about microblogging or where people share twitter “tips and techniques”. The conference was even set up to be fast paced like twitter. Individuals has 10 minutes, featured talks has 15-20 minutes and panels were set for 15-20 as well. Also in the Kodak theater were companies showcasing their products. Seesmic, Bing, Avaya, and Kodak all had booths on the outside of the room. I found the Kodak booth most interesting since they had all their products lined up with knowledgeable people there to discuss the different product lines. I had

LA Kings Hockey Fest 09
It may have been over 100 degrees in Los Angeles this weekend but for LA Kings fans all they could think about was this season on the ice. Starting Friday and running through Sunday, Kings fans stormed LA Live to meet with their favorite players, listen to panels, get autographs and play EA’s NHL 10. Walking up to the event, the street was closed so that teams could play street hockey against each other. The teams had cold air fans but they looked like they were having fun. Inside the event the Kings held various panels from players, coaches and ex-players talking all things Kings. On top of the garage was a large tent that was thankfully air conditioned. Inside fans could buy LA Kings gear, practice their slapshot, and get to meet their favorite Kings players at autograph sessions. EA setup six stations in the tent to showcase NHL

What has been your favorite role? Haruko in FLCL was my very first anime role, so she’s one of my sentimental favorites, but I love Saya in Blood+ and Fuu in Samurai Champloo, too. What was your first ever voice over role? I did a part in a national radio drama when I was eleven! Do you have a background in acting? How did you get into Voice work? I’ve been singing and acting since I was a child. I always knew I wanted
